Thinking about how Hyrule, Ganondorf, AND The Master Sword all get swallowed by the sea at the end of Wind Waker. However, turning to stone when stabbed in the head isnt necessarily dying. Meaning this timeline of games does have a thematic way to bring back Ganondorf. The moral at the end of Wind Waker is to not live in the past. But one could contrast that with a "those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it" theme by having someon draw the sword thus reviving Ganondorf.
Also just imagine: You're like three dungeon deep in a Zelda game. Some old man sends you after a sword in stone. But when you reach it you recognize the stone. That would go fucking crazy. And then you pull it out reviving Ganondorf yourself.

- [au that the movie is leander-focused] mc: “his charisma is so pulling that when he said ‘anything you want’ at the booth, his voice was so low that i almost believed him”
- “leander” being natural at magic tricks “in real life” so he asks not to have the flower CGI’d or any assistance. this ends up not going through, because the director wants a magical way to disappear the flower without any practical explanation (This is a personal HC)

- mc running in the wastes before being knocked by “the traveler”. also, “the traveler” going insane in front of the camera

it's just me but i feel more invested in how leander's manipulation and betrayal works on mc if viewing him as a butch. before that it was easier to examine his promises critically, until with this lens
concept: leander touches your hand as a supplement while sweet talking to you. when (if) he reveals he doesn't give a damn about your life? he touches your face as emphasis for once.
