After the battle Thorin has a memory problem and as soon as he wakes up and sees Bilbo, he gets up and kisses his forehead and tells him he will be alright.

When the company shows up and see the overly attached Thorin they add 2+2 and realise Thorin thinks he and Bilbo are courting.

When they tell Bilbo what's going on with Thorin, he shrugs "What am I supposed to do? We can't just tell him something like that! His memory could get even more messed up.

Deep down in his mind, Bilbo is grateful for Thorin's memory loss and he loves that he can finally be close to Thorin without it being weird.

At some point Thorin gets his memories back, but he doesn't feel like stopping and so he pretends he doesn't know what's going on.

Years go by and neither of them stops behaving like a couple. Thorin ends up telling Bilbo about 20 years after they get married.

"I can't believe you didn't say anything... We even got married! I expected you to break and run away after a while!" "What are you talking about Thorin?" "How come you never said anything about how we weren't together before the battle? I've been waiting for you to get tired of me and running away." "You knew??" "Only after a few months and I thought I should wait for you to give up and tell me the truth." "For fucks sake, you knew and didn't say something? I've been living a lie! I can't believe I fucking fell for you" "Yeah I kn- Wait, you actually fell for me?" "Of course you big doof. Do you really think I could act that well?"

And so they end up not telling anyone else, but no one needs them to say something, they all know Thorin and Bilbo's love is real

I’m not usually one to do these kinds of things, but it’s really important to me.

My name is Kai, I’m 18 and I’m a trans guy.

From what I’m told my family so far, they think I’m just a tomboy who likes to wear boyish things, and behave extremelly boyish. So they don’t let me buy boy clothes; My mom got a me a man’s jacket but only because I begged her to, and right after she got me to most girlish shirt she could find.

So I’m asking you to help me buy things to make me feel better about going out: like a good binder, or clothing that make me feel good. And to do so, I’m asking that you donate whichever amount of money you can HERE. 

It doesn’t have to be 100$, any amount you can do without is fine. I just really want to be able to go outside and not worry that my clothes aren’t good enough to pass as a guy, or that I will have to submit to my family’s will and get the clothes they are willing to buy me. Because honestly, I dont feel safe with female clothes, I feel weird and extremelly out of place.

But guys, can you imagine Thorin and Bilbo on a romantic dinner in "Erebor's Cuisine" that Thorin owns.

Candle light dinner, all alone in their corner of the room, Dori the waiter waiting on them in those fancy restaurant tuxes and Thorin asking for the extra in the romantic package.

Bilbo being all confused as to what that means until he sees Dwalin with his little violin and serenading them as they eat.

Dwalin looking like he's about to throw up because of how cute his best friend and the new cook look, but secretly being happy for them and fanboying in his head because he has never seen Thorin this happy since they first reopened the restaurant after it being in ruins for about 20 years.

Ok so imagine that after the wedding Bilbo goes to get his things in Bag End (Thorin stays in Erebor because he’s the king and he can’t just go on and leave his kingdom). 

As Bilbo starts getting close to Mirkwood, Thorin just stays on the highest place in the mountain with some very huge and powerful binoculars, his face in a permanent frown and keeps muttering to himself “If those elves start getting to close I swear to Mahal’s dick I will hunt them down myself” and when someone walks by and asks what he’s doing he just ignores them and keep muttering to himself that his hobbit is not for anyone else to touch.
