Location: Main Stage at the Briar Ridge Summer Music Fest Starter for: @maricabrera

"Briar Ridge you are sounding amazing today!" Reaching for her wattle bottle as she finished up one of her last songs, Lia smiled as the crowd cheered. "You sure know how to welcome a girl back to a music festival, don't you?" Taking a sip of her water, Lia took a second to take in the sight before her. Sure, she had played bigger festivals, bigger concerts, but this was special. Looking out, she could see people she grew up, their families, her family and her friends and it meant more than anything had before. Maybe moving home was exactly what she needed after all.

"Well you've been so nice to me, I think I better do something extra for y'all. See, I'm not the only local musician that got a break, am I?" Grinning, Lia took her microphone off of the stand before gesturing to the back of the stage. "Mari Cabrera, get your cute butt out here girl!" With the louder cheers, Lia shook her shoulders, unable to hide her excitement of what was to come. "I think they're excited for you!"

"Maybe we get a messenger? If you know where the person lives?" She doesn't understand what a phone is, but she wants to help Mari. "If not, I'm not so certain."

Mari looked down at the scene of nuts and bolts scattered across the hardwood of her and her girlfriends bedroom. “This is impossible,” she mumbled, glaring over at the girl whose head was buried in the instructions manual of their brand new Ikea bed frame. “Are you going to like, oh I don’t know, fucking do something other than try to read the same instructions a dozen times?” Her hands rested perfectly on her hips as she cocked a shit eating grin the direction of the girl, immediately rolling her eyes whenever the girl was not fazed. “No seriously. I’ve been doing fucking everything and you’re just sitting there,” she stated, her voice slightly firmer now. She was an ass, but honestly, so was her girlfriend.
