idk about this particular script obviously, but i feel like usually if your one female character needs to be sexy in order for the story to work, it might be a sign that you’re not a very talented writer…
It can work, like, just from something I was playing recently off the top of my head, Milla from Tales of Xillia is a god who gives herself the physical form of a hot woman because she knows it is effective in getting her what she wants from men, and it's excellent.
If we didn't live in a world of sexism, then there'd be no problem with any scripts like his; the problem is the fact that sexy slender femme fatales are the only way men seem to understand how to give a woman agency.
