ThreeFold Update

ThreeFold update, lost chapter 1 and rewrote it. The staff and I spoke and we have decided to shelve the review concerns for now. We will keep tabs of any new reviews and feedback and see if they are in-line with the other comment With, that in mind we are going to ask if people can please write a review on the novel. If we see more similar thoughts we will consider a re-release of the novel with free copies sent to those who want it.

If not we will rework the novel for a 2nd edition sometime in 2018-2019.

That being said, we do need beta readers/reviews for our novels. The work is pretty simple, you read the novel, note down where you see major story issues, major typos, and you can give us a list of suggestions. I usually engage beta's directly when possible to improve the prose.

Languages of the Crescent

Fans of our ThreeFold Seer novels, can now learn the basics of one of the conlangs found in the series Crescent Tongue! 

Currently we only have the bare notes and the small dictionary up for download, but it should be enough for some basic sentences! We encourage fans to delve into the lore of the Crescent and to learn more about the peoples in it!

don't kill off all the lesbians / wlw esp right after something happy happens to them. diversity.

I got this as feedback in for ThreeFold and I want to say that pretty much 95% of the main protagonist cast is queer. Three of the villains are Queer and only is cisthet. But, I am not killing a single queer character to purposely further the plot of a straight character.

No dead lesbians here :D

Ui Inokanii Menizknan-dao

There was a moment in the history of the Shattered Crescent when a great Sin was created, this was the Sin of Blood and Bone. A powerful Soul-Binder, known as Lady Ivory committed a vast blood ritual. In return she tried to grasp power on a scale never thought of to the Goddesses. The Three-Within-Three judged the lady and her folk, the Wave Riders, unust. Thus a great storm known as the Ui Inokanii Manizknan-do or “The Divine Merciful Storm Cleasning over a long period” or simply the Inokanii swept away their islands. The Crescent was Shattered, an the Wave Riders were no more.

New PoV Character

Worked a bit on the next book for ThreeFold today. New character names added, and I'm working on the new PoV characters. Ifsii is getting expanded POV for this next novel, as well as a wonderful new trans character who leads one of the Ships!

Going to be introducing more myticism and weirdness of the Western Shore, and the divination of Phoenix bones :D

Ailaaraatoinie, The Sky Queen

When I wrote the first ThreeFold Seer books I had no long term attention on creating elaborate names for the deities of the Shattered Crescent. However, my desire to make things more complicated has rendered even more work on the Crescent Tongue language.

In the land of the Crescent, the Sky Queen is one of the primary deities of the world. Among the Six, she is the ruler of the world, and it is her word that created the land itself. To the Skybound people, Ailaaraatoinie is the slayer of demons, the mother of all Shaman, and is the chooser of Kings. The ore SkyBlue nations such as Ganee, Gauzea, and Mairaa. To the Highlands, she is the Warrior Queen that founded their Clans, and to the non-SkyBlue she is the bringer of Rains.

She has many names: Lady of Rains, the Storm Mother, Thunderer of the Winds, and Raptor Queen. All pray to her as the embodiment of life-giving wind, and the ruler of the Heavens.

Colorism

After some thought we will be adding colorism to the various ideas expressed through Threefold Seer. It will be hard to deal since we’re having to redefine how racism even works in the world. Currently its mostly based off one of the central cultures and their own privilege.
