so i did leave it open just because like writing wise it felt the most natural to do that instead of explaining what happens next ?? BUT i will tell you what i would’ve written if it had flowed well: mydei and reader escape on verax and he takes her home to her father, who agrees to support kremnos in exchange for his daughter back 🙂↕️ after that mydei leaves to go lead the war against the empire (which is now ruled over by the cousin) while reader like chills by the sea and recovers from the trauma of her marriage because i honestly can’t see her getting married to Anyone right away given how her old husband was ykwim…then once the empire is dealt with mydei comes back and he asks reader if she would like to kremnos with him which she ofc accepts and then they do get married and live happily ever after 🥹
