I know how hard it is not to let anger guide you, especially now, when the world feels turned on its head. I know how difficult it can be to not wish misfortune against those who would hurt you and others. But I am convinced these things only help the enemy, because, by the Witch’s Rede, that which you send out returns to you threefold. 

We are only hurting ourselves by channeling negative thoughts and intentions. I’m not saying not to protect yourselves and your loved ones. I’m not saying not to defend your lives if it comes to it. But don’t let that be the weapon that defines you.  Instead of focusing your energy on tearing down the evil forces out there, I challenge you to point it towards building up the good ones, to lending strength to the institutions you want to see thrive.

Conduct spells for peace, happiness, safety, and equality for those who are marginalized. Put your magic into enlightenment, learning, positive change, and for good to grow. Plant these seeds and spread them by the four winds to uplift our communities, our states, our countries; maybe even the world. Include these practices, these moments of sending positive intention with passion and sincerity, in your everyday life. Consider it done, and watch it return to you in three’s. Watch it uplift the people you love. Watch it lend strength to the frightened, and watch them flourish in a new world you helped create, not by setting fire to your enemies, but by focusing your energy on the ones who actually deserve it.  Love, love, love to you, my sweet friends.

There's a lot of debate among witches about the Threefold Law (I think? I mean the Law where whatever magic you cast, it will happen back at you three times as strong), which of course discourages cursing of any kind. I like using that as a challenge: like, damn that person was awful. What could I do about it/hope would happen to them? I bless that person. I hope they become a better person. I hope that they realise their faults, and that they can persevere to fix their mistakes and right their wrongdoings. (and I hope I can do that, too). I hoped to see a discussion about this, but I am not a witch and idk who else to ask to see a discussion like this.

The threefold law/law of return was a (possibly intentional) misinterpretation of a passage from Gardner's (fiction) novel High Magic's Aid created by Monique Wilson and popularized by folks like Raymond Buckland to make Wicca seem more palatable to the general public.

So I mean, do what you want. Sounds like you've come up with an interesting thought exercise for yourself. But also, if you aren't a witch (let alone a Wiccan), why were you worrying about it to begin with?
