Good evening my brothers and sisters ✊🏾. I’d like to be the first to wish y’all a happy MLK day. Today, we celebrate a man who helped shape the very foundation of racial equality through means of peace and justice. We all know him as the man who had a dream; but do you know what that dream entailed? It was a dream where little black boys and little black girls could drink from the river of prosperity freed from the thirst of racial oppression. Though a lot has happened since his day, we must never forget all that he has done for us. I, myself, had the honor of getting my picture taken with the great Dr. King in D.C some 3 years ago. He was as awe-inspiring as he was all those years ago. Even though it might not yet be achieved; it’s up to us to make sure his dream becomes a reality. Like the great Dr. King, I have a dream, you have a dream, we ALL have a dream; but what can you do to make it come true? #mlkday #weallhaveadream #throwbackmonday (at Washington D.C.) https://www.instagram.com/rugnificence_25/p/CY25nytLSX5/?utm_medium=tumblr
