1. SIMM!MASTER-

Back during his days as Harold Saxon he received a bottle of barrel-proofed scotch aged for eighteen years which the Master still keeps unopened in his TARDIS, it was a gift he was given after being elected Prime Minister of Great Britain and treasures it greatly. The Master saves it for a day he knows he’s going to die, though running out of lives is quite unlikely for someone like himself it’s what he hopes will be his last drink. 

2. GOMEZ!MASTER-

Missy enjoys going to major historical tragedies and finding priceless pieces of jewelry, china, watches and other interesting little trinkets to sell in the far off future. It’s how she affords her incredible wardrobe and always has a laugh making mint off of the joys of being a time traveller. Her favourite thing which she kept for herself is a sapphire and white gold ring which she stole from a rich aristocrat woman on the Titanic before pushing her off of the sinking ship and into the ocean bellow.   

3. DHAWAN!MASTER-

During his seventy years stranded on Earth, the Master developed an interest in photography. Though the people of planet Earth have always been considered to be dreadfully annoying to the Time Lord he has always held a strange fondness for the wild life and would sit in gardens and fields taking pictures of different flora and fauna. He still keeps a few of his old photos in his TARDIS tucked away in his bedroom, something he considers to be rather personal and private and has no interest in showing to anyone else.

Thruspace has a fabulous aesthetic, so I decided to record it for posterity. In the process, I did my best ever run of Endless Mode!

I love this kind of abstract aesthetic in puzzle games... Thruspace is particularly inspriational to me because of its progression – the further you go, the more it opens up, and you get to see more of the sky outside 🌅

Recently, I found one of my missing sketchbooks from 2011 – including a drawing of the last level of the game that I had completely forgotten about:

To think this game has been inspiring me so strongly for nearly a decade now!

Anchor Brewhouse, Shad Thames (present day) ...

‘Well-deserved break at home’. The phrase floated happily past her in the hum of the TARDIS, the strange combination of confidence and eggshells she was leaving behind. Hung about in the back of her mind as she checked both ways before stepping out the door and realised they were around a half-mile from where they should be, but she was inhaling the sting of the air and the smell of the Thames like it was ambrosia and the walk would do her good.

Better, even, as she took in the sky overhead and the leaves of the trees. A little while outside, soaking up the essence, rather than going straight from one sort of ‘indoors’ to another. That came soon enough, as even though she was mostly sure the Doctor had delivered them within a few minutes of having left, there was still an urge to check on her apartment as soon as possible.

Which was the moment, naturally, when overthinking saw it’s chance to strike. What the hell had she just gone and done? As in she knew, and her tongue touched absently across her lips at the memory. But her inner thoughts still clamoured ‘what the hell - ?’ She threw her luggage onto the bed and began to undress, exchanging her travel clothes for Yoga pants and a tank top and persuading her head to stop listing reasons she shouldn’t have and settle on the ‘should’.

She brewed herself a strong coffee with a good drop of liqueur and made her way out onto the balcony, the better for more of that 21st-century-polluted but still Mother Earth air.

‘Well-deserved break at home.’ 

Thera sighed, sipped carefully so as not to burn her tongue. He might have had that just a little turned around ...

Closed Starter for Thruspace (Nine)

The problem with travelling through time was that unless you had photographic evidence that the place you were going to had no obstacles, you ran a high risk of crashing into something that you had no idea would be there. Marty had done his best to make sure that he wouldn’t have anything to crash into- he was going down a country road, at a time when no sane person would be out.

It just so happened though, that Marty McFly had a lot of luck- and all of it bad.

As the lightening around the car exploded out of view, he saw something in the middle of the road, “Holy shit!” he slammed both feet down on the breaks, his hands spinning the wheel furiously as he tried to avoid the large- telephone box?- standing in the middle of the road. Unfortunately, it didn’t work and the delorean came to a halt by slamming into the blue object, the seatbelt strapping Marty severely in place, his head bouncing off the wheel. He wasn’t sure how long he sat there, stunned, blood running down the crevice between his nose and his cheek. His ears were ringing and he was honestly too stunned to move. He only turned his head gingerly when he saw a light shining into the delorean- the box had opened.

She's socially awkward, that's just part of this regeneration's personality, but the last time she saw him - they didn't know she was alive. There was a beam, spreading across her lips, widening her face as she broke into a run. Her coat rippled behind her, practically throwing herself at him.

Arms wrapped around the younger man, even if her face looked younger, she definitely won that. She tugged him into a hard hug, face in his shoulder, so grateful. When she pulled back, there was a slight shine in her eyes. "Hi, Graham." she said, softly. "Glad to see you're still alive." she patted his shoulder.

bookish creatures (Closed - Matilda - the doctor)

Matilda loved the library, it was her safe haven when she needed to get away from home and no one seemed to really notice when she got there. She knew the stacks like the back of her hand and knew where just about every book was on the shelf. Although matilda hadn’t been able to get there as often as she wished with school starting she still made it her mission to come at least twice a week. 

Today Matilda had her sights set on some of the books she knew she hadn’t read yet, up on the taller shelves that she couldn’t reach it was a good way for her to practice her powers as well though only if no one was looking, she didn’t like scaring people (Unless they deserved it, that was an entirely different story.) 

that was when she heard a peculiar scurrying noise. It wasn’t like a mouse, she’d heard mice before it was something different. She looked around herself curiously until she spotted it, up on a high shelf (Well high for a little girl) were a pair of big eyes staring down at her she moved a little closer and they hid

“Hello,” she said softly looking at where they had been “You don’t have to be afraid, I won’t hurt you.” she encouraged softly the creature appeared and it was like nothing she’d ever seen. It was small and blue like some kind of fairy with large brown eyes and stood on two peculiar feet 

Matilda went into her backpack quickly and pulled out some crackers she had stashed there as a snack and turned back to the creature putting them up on the shelf and waiting the creature sniffed it curiously before taking the cracker and devouring it quickly. Matilda smiled and put another one there watching as it was eaten quickly by the creature. Matilda wondered what it was, she’d never seen of heard of any creature like it before and what was it doing in the library? though she knew it was a good place to hide after all.
