I thought about posting this Sunday but part of me has resisted. There is a facet that would like to somehow get back at you, at least inconvenience you for one day (i.e., have you show up for court). But I am going to let this restraining order go and move on, even if I have to pay $700 or whatever it is for my old car in impound, which I will never get back. The fact is I am happy right now and progressing. Pursuing such an end, albeit understandable in light of what you did, mainly hinders me. Moreover God forgives freely and as a follower of Jesus, I am called to likewise. So while my first gift was on Christmas (i.e., forgiving you for assault and robbery), this Easter I let the restraining order and court date, which is Monday, go.
