I don't know how to feel that the time I don't really try and do a quick thumbnail, that the character actually comes out looking good for once.
AHHHHHHH THE IRONY 🤣
The movie I chose for the movie analysis task was Corpse Bride by Tim Burton. I chose this movie because it’s one of my favourites so I know a lot about it. The close ups in beginning of the drawings suggest focus on the butterfly, then it pans out and you can see the main character sat at a desk with a butterfly on the window ledge and drawings of butterflies on the wall. Which all leads to him letting the butterfly free at the end of the opening. Also the music in this scene is almost like calming piano music which links to the butterfly being delicate and it shows the contrast between the main character and the butterfly living and the dead later on in the movie.
