My wife wanted chicken wings tonight! I’ll always agree with this decision. Half are seasoned with @eatthunderbird Wings Chicken Scratch and the other half with @biggreenegg Nashville Hot. The Thunderbird seasoning is always a favorite of ours on wings. I saw the BGE seasoning at a local Egg dealer and thought I’d try it. It’s actually pretty spicy! I mean not crazy hot, but it’s all cayenne. In this application I didn’t get the whole Nashville Hot vibe. I added a super heavy amount to the chicken and it wasn’t over salty, so that’s a big plus. Served with corn and blue cheese! Nom nom I grilled the wings on the @recteq_official RT-340 at 425 until they reached 175 or so internal. I’m doing some @smartchicken_official party wings tonight on the @recteq_official RT-340! Half are seasoned with @eatthunderbird Chicken Scratch and the other half with @biggreenegg Nashville Hot. I thought it was worth a try. If saw my previous post, I started up the Bulleye and after messing with it for a bit I had to abort. I have never cleaned it since I started using it and the fire pot was too full. Clean your grills! Haha. Tonight in the @kamadojoe Big Joe 3 I grilled some @smartchicken_official party wings seasoned with @eatthunderbird Chicken Scratch along with some cheesy garlic bread. The bread has @fiestaspices Garlic Bread Seasoning, @bannerbutteratl , @kraft.naturalcheese provolone, Provel, oregano and garlic salt on top. National chicken wing day! Smart chicken wings and drums seasoned with @thunderbirdwings Chicken Scratch & @albukirkybbq Hot Anchonero then dipped in @cholulahotsauce Hot Sauce. These were smoked with pecan then grilled over high heat to finish. Served with sweet potato fries, celery and blue cheese. Good eats! I’m making chicken wings tonight! The first rub in the @cambromfg shaker is @meatchurch Honey Hog Hot. The other is Chicken Scratch from @thunderbirdwings. This makes a great combo!
