An all too familiar clash of metal & shouts of men filled the air, the constant, dissonant symphony of BATTLE. And a great one too, so it sounded, the first word of INVADERS having come early after dawn and now blood still being split as the sun lowered on the opposite side of the sky. Loki knew not which blood was streaking the ground more, but from the length of the fight he was not HOPEFUL.
Up until now he had stayed hidden, secluded and away from the battle for Odin’s fear of his GREATEST WEAPON being unleashed early. Two guards were STILL with him even though JUST IN CASE and the three of them currently sat anxiously in their hiding spot where they could neither see nor be seen.
The sound of horses & riders sounded behind them suddenly, making their was hastily over the ridge and the anxious party turned, seeing a small party riding towards them from the source of the battle. Loki let out a breath, heart sinking, and stood slowly to face the coming order.
