I'm too excited about these characters to wait until their proper 1.0s are done here's [team S]'s squishies fssfsg
Carmine (he/him): the leader of the unit.
• Mid to large seeker. Prone to following his gut instinct under stress, starts out as a very flighty character but with experience Carmine mellows out.
• Solid 7.3/10 on the decepticon loyalty scale, with an idealistic but not fanatic view of the decepticon cause. Develops possible primus apotheosis (paradoxical/decepticon presentation), with him even getting put on the List for it towards the end of / after the war.
• Due to the relatively late addition and *gestures vaguely towards the events of MTMTE*, Carmine's name never ends up getting crossed off, and he becomes one of the few mecha to survive the DJD by sheer luck.
Helicoblade (she/her)
• Small to mid heli. Has a passion for flying and topography. Massive introvert with a habit of accidentally sneaking up on mecha in root mode.
• After the war she's one of the disillusioned decepticons who keeps the badge but ends up seeking a more benevolent career path related to her passion.
• divebomb divebomb divebomb div
Blitzblast (she/he/they)
• Small to mid gunformer. Excitable and chatty, with a heavy preference for her altmode over her root mode. A tad touch starved but has a hard time for a while asking to be held outside of his gun mode.
• One of those decepticons who ends up doubling down on the Cause after Megatron's defection and they immediately jump on the "Well obviously Megatron wasn't a real decepticon—" bandwagon post war.
• Spends a few decades primarily/solely in altmode as someone's #1 blaster (garbage relationship that Blitzblast still finds herself missing late at night)
• He ends up working at a gun range as both the gun and the training instructor
Thunderpath (he/him)
• Mid sized tankformer, gets reformatted into [unknown treaded vehicle] post war. Serious no-nonsense type, there are so many leader vs SIC arguments between Thunderpath and Carmine about the mission(s)
• He sticks around with the main decepticon faction longer than most after the war, but eventually ends up removing his badges and living as an ex-decepticon on Cybertron
• moderate to severe tinnitus after a while
Something I noticed about Cinderpelt
So, I'm working back through the Warriors books, I'm currently rereading Fire and Ice from arc 1. Fireheart and Graystripe have just gotten their apprentices, and Fireheart is gonna show Cinderpaw the territory. The first thing she says after Fireheart tells her what they're gonna do that day is "Will we see the thunderpath?" I see what you did there, Erin Hunter, and I hate it.
