so i HAVE heard of this one (mostly in regards to broken earth actually? idk i feel like it's mentioned in similar circles and also was nominated for a hugo the same year) and i never really felt the need to read it but i just read a review five minutes ago that's changing my mind....calling the vibe of a book like this understated is a huge selling point for me <33

☕ - what is switching like for you?

hmmmmmmm most of the time it's less that we notice a switch happen and more that we're just like trying to figure out who is fronting at any given time lol

tho sometimes we can tell that a switch is happening cos we get all lightheaded and distracted, or at least that's what we usually assume is going on lmao

AWESOME...i never had those. i did have one of those pound puppies dogs with the voicebox though it would like bark and wag its tail or whatever. i also had a furby and was terrified of it 👍
