Urggghhhhh I hate that they changed the backstory in Moonlight Mystique that Xingyue killed Jingyuan like the whole relationship I loved between Yuemi and Tianqi in ALP was that she died to save him and in that in the unfinished novel MM is based on Tianqi turns into Fanyue because he is trying to find Yuemi

Yes, this is a LXY appreciation post because this drama is a slow burn and I am more of an angst with a happy ending aficionado. The plot so far is soooooo slow but then again it's xianxia so I will persevere. LXY is serving looks so ... yeah I came for LXY and I'll stay for LXY. Nothing screams righteousness quite like pastel white.

One: White Lace and Gold ... perfect for pining after one's object of affection.

Two: Baby Powder White and Gold ... just what we need when your royal father wants to mind wipe you so that he could force you into a political marriage.

Three: Ice White and Champagne ... just the outfit for defying your parents.

Four: Cloud White ... so nice and pristine. Adds dramatic flare for the blood spiting era.

Five: Pearl White and Dark Navy ... a great look for when you're facing your mortal trial but cheated by keeping your memory because going against the rules is just going to make things easier ... said all the ML who all had to pay a steep price in the end.

Bonus one: Crying in Crimsom because life in xianxia is not easy so might as well look smoking hot in a gorgeous red robe.

Bonus two: I'm cheating since it's Tian Qi from Ancient Love Poetry and he's wearing purple but come on ... just look at him! I can't possibly not have it here!
