anyways i’ve decided that kienan marries asra and dates nadia and portia, diamond is in a three-way marriage with nadia and portia and is qps with muriel, and tiarnane marries julian and fucks off with him into the sunset to have stupid drama boy adventures.

yes i’m bringing diamond over into the arcana leave me alone.

kienan is my sort of canon apprentice in that they’re actually asra’s apprentice and i think have the most in common with the canon. diamond kind of knows asra and muriel from their time on the docks. they were, like asra and muriel, forced to serve lucio in their own way as well. after lucio’s death they set up their own practice as a fortune teller. kienan and asra run into them during their investigation and di helps them out, reconnecting with asra and muriel in the process, as well as being introduced to nadia and portia. 

meanwhile tiarnane isn’t even part of the investigation. he’s a dumbass palace performer with a knack for dance, illusions, and glamours who falls in with julian and helps julian investigate his past. he meets and becomes friends with the home crew because of julian but the two of them are kinda codependent idiots.

it’ll take some time to sort out what happens to who but. yeah. lmao.

ambitious brain wants to draw the entire extended family but shitty artist brain is screaming bUT WE’LL DIE so. there’s that.

1) Are they woodier or leafier? Succulent, deciduous, evergreen?

Kienan: Woody, but like the soft, new branches kind of wood. Flexible and fairly smooth. Deciduous.

Naayeia: Petal-y actually! Bruises very easily. Perennial!

Islha: Combination of leafy and petal-y, smooth and soft to touch. Perennial.

Esthaeriel: Leafy, but pretty tough and weathered. Evergreen (everblue?)

Alaeteia: Woody, creaky, and strong. Evergreen.

Sayeuri: Leafy, flexible, smooth. Evergreen.

Raeysa: Leafy, but very tough. Deciduous.

Oriana: Woody, really stringy and tough. (Based on a manzanita). Evergreen.

Tiarnane: Petal-y, with an almost powdery-smooth texture. Perennial.

Daagni: Mostly woody, with leafier ends. Deciduous.

Liara: Leafy, fairly thick, soft leaves. Succulent.

Damara: Woody, fairly flexible. Deciduous. 

Misrae: Woody, tough. Deciduous.

Aelidha: Leafy, perpetually warm. Evergreen.

Syaoraen: Woody. Deciduous.

Aonarha: Woody, somewhat dry and sickly. Deciduous.

Arawn: Woody, super tough and hard. Evergreen.

Kienan: Tropical.

Naayeia: Cold desert.

Islha: Desert.

Esthaeriel: Swamp, snow, anything really wet.

Alaeteia: Cold. Anywhere cold.

Sayeuri: Desert.

Oriana: Thrives in the desert but hates it because her bark peels and curls.

Tiarnane: Swamp, really muggy weather.

Daagni: Doesn’t care for cold.

Liara: Fuck the cold.

Damara: Is she ever uncomfortable? She’d never let it on.

Aelidha: Cold, wet places.
