Formally known as the “Super Smash Bros. Headcanon Masterlist”, this masterlist lists all of the headcanons I’ve made over the course of this blog’s existence.
Links to all of the headcanons will be provided. Just click or tap on a character’s name, and the link should take you to the headcanons that I made for that specific character.
Some of the links that I have provided in the list below will take you to the same post. For example, the link that takes you to my Mario headcanons will be the same as the link that takes you to my Luigi headcanons. Don’t worry, this is not an error. Some of the asks that I have gotten in the past requested two or more characters at the same time. In response, I created headcanons for each of the characters that they had asked for, and put them all together in a single response.
All of the characters who have appeared in Super Smash Bros. are listed in order of their Fighter number. This is the number that appears next to a character’s name on the official website for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. If you need some examples to understand what this means, Captain Falcon’s Fighter number is #11, and Robin’s Fighter number is #56. On this list, the Fighter number of each fighter will be displayed on the left side of a character’s name. Echo Fighters can be distinguished by an “E” that is next to their Fighter Number.
I’ll make sure to update this post whenever I finish a request for a character that is currently missing from this list, or whenever I come up with a list of headcanons in my own time.
The link to this list will be in my pinned post, but if you don’t want to use it, you can either search for this post using the search bar, or check the “Headcanon Masterlist” tag.
If you haven’t beaten Xenoblade Chronicles 2, you’ll want to be careful if you intend on scrolling through this masterlist. This masterlist spoils the name of a specific Blade that is obtained in seventh chapter of the game, but isn’t referred to by name until the tenth and final chapter.

Do you have a list of tickle headcanons for each warioware character?? ^^
This ask has been in my inbox since October of last year (or at least, I’m pretty sure it’s been in my inbox since October), and I feel as though an apology is in order for the VERY late response. So, sorry for the late response!
I do in fact have some headcanons for the WarioWare cast, but unfortunately, I found the idea of making an extremely long list intimidating. In an attempt to combat this, I decided to answer this ask by posting some headcanons for two specific characters: Wario and Jimmy T. If you’re looking for headcanons about these two, then you’re in luck!
If you’re looking for another character other than Wario or Jimmy T., feel free to send me an ask about them! I’ll make sure to start working on a list of headcanons for them as soon as I can!
This post is going under a “Read More” because of spoilers for some of the games in the WarioWare series, primarily for Warioware Smooth Moves and WarioWare: Gold. Be sure to keep this spoiler warning in mind as you read these headcanons.
With all of that said, let’s get to the headcanons!
Wario:
He’s neither a lee, ler, or switch, and absolutely LOATHES the concept of tickling.
I don’t know why, but I don’t think he would be ticklish. However, if he was ticklish (or is canonically ticklish), I would say that his worst spot would be stomach.
I mean, it’s the easiest spot to reach, and it enables people to keep their distance from him.
Because of his aforementioned hatred of tickling, all of the employees at WarioWare Inc refuse to tickle him. They don’t know what will happen if they try to do that to him.
Even 5-Volt is afraid to tickle him, and she’s the biggest tickle monster in the company!
Mona too, and she has feelings for him (or at least, it’s implied that she has feelings for him), and she is another one of the company’s tickle monsters!
He doesn’t like to be on the giving end, either. Why would he? In his mind, tickling is childish!
However… he soon realized that he could make money off of it.
I mentioned this a long time ago in my headcanons for Young Cricket, but I’ll talk about it here, too: Wario could make money off of his employees’ ticklishness by setting up a booth where people can pay a specific amount of money to tickle a specific member of the company (other than Wario himself) on a specific part of their body.
As one would expect, he announced this idea to his employees, and so to avoid being caught up in an embarrassing situation, everyone has to keep their ticklishness a secret form him. Even the employees who are slightly ticklish or aren’t ticklish at all have to keep that information hidden, because the idea of being restrained against their will in a tickle booth is humiliating to them, regardless of how ticklish they are.
If you’re looking for more headcanons for Wario, then I’m sorry, but this is all I have for the time being. Maybe I’ll come up with some news ones in the future, but for now, this is what I’ve got for him.
Jimmy T.:
Ler
99% of the time, he’s too busy dancing to think about something like tickling, but that doesn’t mean he won’t join in on a tickle fight between his friends or family members from time to time!
Because of how rarely he gets himself involved with tickling, some people think that he isn’t ticklish at all. You can imagine their surprise when they find that he is!
His worst spots are his ears and his sides. It’s a little difficult to tickle his ears due to the afro wig he’s wearing (yes, his hair is actually a wig. Believe me, I was shocked too when I first found out about this), but if you can get past that, you’ll be awarded with chuckles. As for his sides… well, he doesn’t wear a shirt. Need I say more?
He tends to chuckle when someone tickles him, but if you keep going, you’ll eventually break him and send him into a laughing fit. If you don’t want to wait, you can always target his sides. He’s more ticklish there compared to any other spot, even his ears (although they are a close second)!
He doesn’t protest all that much while you’re tickling him, but that’s likely due to the fact that he doesn’t talk that much to begin with (as evidenced by one of his character cards in Gold). However, if he does protest, you should take that as a sign to stop.
It might not be a good idea to do this, since there’s always a chance that someone will get injured, but if you’re feeling brave enough, try to tickle him while he’s dancing. He’ll literally fall over in surprise, and it is one of the funniest things you’ll ever see.
The Legendary Cat Dancers and the cat from Gold often tickle him by affectionately nuzzling his sides. It’s rather embarrassing for him, but thankfully, the cats tend to do this when he’s walking down an empty street or an empty alleyway.
One time, Spitz heard his laughter and went to find the cause. After some searching, he found Jimmy being tickled by the Legendary Cat Dancers in an alleyway.
Not only was this extremely embarrassing for Jimmy, but Spitz decided to join in and started nuzzling him too, further embarrassing him and making him laugh even harder than before.
Spitz didn’t mean to embarrass him by doing this, he just wanted to improve the experience for both Jimmy and himself by helping out the cats. Out of remorse, he vowed to keep this incident a secret between the two of them, and to this day, he hasn’t told a soul.
His main lers are his two siblings, Dr. Crygor, Penny, Mike, and Spitz.
I don’t know if the Legendary Cat Dancers and the cat from Gold would count as lers, but if they do, then they are also in the above list of lers.
If people aren’t already surprised by the fact that he’s ticklish, they will be when they find out that he’s really good at being a ler, too!
Though perhaps it wouldn’t be too surprising to those who know him and his family members. He has two siblings, and they often dragged him into their tickle fights when they were young, so he’s definitely had some experience with being a ler.
He has a rather unique style of tickling; he pretends that his fingers are disco- dancers and moves them as if they were dancing.
This style of tickling never fails to make his siblings laugh, and it also works on some of his fellow coworkers at WarioWare Inc.
Since he doesn’t talk that much, it is rare to hear him tease his lees. However, when he does, he tends to compare his lee’s laughter to music. If you get flustered by teases like that, then you’ll want to avoid being on the receiving end of Jimmy’s tickles.
“Start the music!” Is something he often says as he’s about to wreck your shit. It’s absolutely evil, and the worst part is that he’s not even trying to be evil!
He loves to send teasy text messages to his lees on his cell phone, so if he finds out that you’re ticklish, you might find at least one benefit of not having a cell phone if you don’t have one. If you do have one, make sure it’s on silent mode so you don’t have to think about all of the teases he’ll send you!
His main lees are his siblings, Dr. Crygor, and Penny.
If he could tickle Mike, he would, but unfortunately for him, he has no clue how to tickle a robot like him. Dr. Crygor and Penny know how to tickle him, but for the sake of not embarrassing Mike more than they already do, they rather not tell anyone how they can tickle him.
Overall, he surprises everyone by being a decently ticklish person who often gets tickled by his siblings and the cats he meets in Diamond City, and a ler who is more evil than anyone (including himself) would believe.
And that’s all I’ve got for now! Like I said at the beginning of this post, feel free to send me an ask if you want to see some headcanons for any of the other characters from the series!
I recently learned that the “Oh, Snap!” microgame (A.K.A the tickle-related microgame I talked about in my headcanons for Young Cricket) actually came from WarioWare: Touched!, not WarioWare: Gold, and was originally made by Jimmy T.
I’m pretty sure he gave this microgame to Cricket and Master Mantis in Gold solely due to the fact that the control scheme for the microgame clashed with the control scheme for the microgames he made for the Mash League, but I like to think that there’s another reason: Jimmy knows about Cricket’s love for tickling, and he purposefully gave the Oh, Snap! microgame to him and his master, knowing full well that it would make him blush and go into a lee mood.
It took me way too long to realize that Master Mantis holds onto Young Cricket’s side while they’re on the carousel during their stage in WarioWare:Gold (or at least, it looks like he’s holding onto Cricket’s side).
Wouldn’t it be a shame if Mantis were to... gently squeeze Cricket’s side and make him fall off the carousel?
I’m listening to Young Cricket’s voice lines from WarioWare: Get it Together because I want to hear his laugh again, and… maybe it’s just me, but he sounds a little nervous?
Is he okay? Does he needs some tickles to calm down?
Hey ey, I wonder for a tickle game version of Warioware!
Assuming that this is referring to the tickle game I recently brought back, are you curious about one specific character from WarioWare, or do you want me to talk about all of the characters in one post?
A/N: Hi! Yes, I’m still alive! I’ve been busy with college for about two months now, but I somehow managed to write another fic in the midst of all the work I have to do for my classes!
Now I did say that I was working on a tickle fic for WarioWare, but in all technicality, I lied. You see, at the time of that post, I only had one WarioWare fic in the works, but sometime afterwards, I came up with another idea for a fic. This fic just so happens to be the fic that’s based on that idea.
The fic I was referring to in that post will be longer than this one, but because of college and a lack of motivation, I don’t have the slightest idea as to when that fic will be posted (if I even finish it at all). Since I’m not quite done with my classes at the time of this post, I decided tot write a shorter fic for the WarioWare series. I feel like that was a good idea, and here’s why:
I’ve never written a fic for WarioWare before, so I wanted to test myself and see if I could accurately replicate the personalities of the characters before I went back to work on the longer fic.
I wanted to reach my goal of ten fics before the end of the year. Luckily for me, this fic is indeed the tenth fic that I have written for this blog, so I did it! I managed to reach my goal!
I don’t know if I was successful in my attempt to replicate the personalities of the characters in this fic, but I guess I won’t know for sure until I see what you guys think of my performance!
Oh, and one more thing: since this fic is for a series I’ve never written for before, I think I should remind everyone that my fics are not romantic or NSFW in any way, shape, or form, regardless of the fandom I am writing for.
Sorry for the long author’s note, but I felt like it was necessary, especially after being gone for nearly two months straight. Now that all of the explanations and disclaimers are out of the way, onto the first ever WarioWare fic on this blog!
He only had himself to blame for all of this. Feeling confident in his skills as a martial artist, Young Cricket challenged Kat and Ana to catch him as he jumped across a small cluster of square-shaped islands off the coast of the training grounds he and Master Mantis called home. The two kindergarten-aged ninjas gave him a five second head start, but even with that slight advantage, they still caught up to him in no time flat.
Kat stopped him in his tracks by jumping onto his back and knocking him face-first onto the sand of the island smack dab in the middle of the ocean. When she checked his face and saw no signs of injury, Kat seated herself on Cricket’s torso. Ana soon caught up to them and sat down on his legs.
“We got you, Cricket!” Ana exclaimed as Kat giggled in a way that was highly unsettling to the martial arts student.
“You underestimated us, didn’t you?” The older twin questioned, an unmistakable tone of mischief in her voice.
Cricket was about to answer her, but his reply died in his throat as soon as Kat’s fingers began to skitter over his ribs. A split second later, Ana began to squeeze his kneecaps with an astonishing amount of vigor.
He tried to control the laughter that threatened to explode out of him by biting down on his lower lip, but the tingly sensation on his knees broke him and sent him into a fit of giggles.
“Hehehehehey! Thihihihihis is mehehehehan, yohohou twohohoho!”
“But you said we were free to claim our reward in any way we saw fit if we caught up to you!” Ana replied.
“Ihihihihi suppohohohohohohohose thahahahahat’s a faihihihHIHIHIHIR POHOHOHOHOHOINT! H-HEHEHEHEHEHEHY! KAHAHAHAHAHAHAT!” Cricket finally lost control of his laughter when Kat's hands snuck their way under his robes and attacked his stomach.
“Oh! Good thinking, Kat!” Ana let up on his knees and moved up to his torso, joining her sister in the tickle assault against his sensitive belly.
“What’s the matter, Cricket? Can’t handle the two of us tickling you at the same time?”
“I don’t think he can! Just look at him!” Kat stopped scribbling and unleashed a flurry of pokes to Cricket’s belly, “He’s absolutely losing it!”
The twin ninjas happily giggled at the squeaks Cricket let out in response to the pokes. Suddenly, Kat got an idea.
“You know…” She pondered, slowing her tickling down to a stop, “I think Cricket needs to be taught a lesson.”
“A lesson on how not to underestimate people?” Ana asked her sister, slowing her tickling to a stop as well.
“Yes!”
“But hasn’t he learnt that lesson already?”
Kat shook her head, “I don’t think so, so we’ll have to hammer that lesson into his head!”
“But what can we do to make sure he’s learned his lesson?”
Her questions were answered when she saw Kat remove Cricket’s robe and lift up the tank top he wore underneath it.
“Ohhhh, I see!” She exclaimed, giggling once more at the horrified look in Cricket’s eyes.
“Ready, Sis?”
“Ready!”
“W-wait, no! You can’t do that! You can’t tickle my bare stomach! I can’t hahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHANDLEHEHEHEHEHEHE THAHAHAHAHAHAHT, NOHOHOHOHOHOHO!” His pleas fell on deaf ears and were quickly drowned out by laughter as the twins resumed their tickling, mercilessly digging their fingers into his slightly toned tummy.
“You shouldn’t have told us that~!” Ana teased, focusing her efforts on his lower belly, while Kat focused on the rest of his belly and occasionally poked at his navel.
“Yeah, you shouldn’t have said anything if you didn’t want us to tickle you here! You do realize that telling someone to not tickle you in a certain spot will only encourage them to tickle you in that spot, right?”
Cricket wished he could argue against that, but found that he couldn’t. His master had warned him about this several times in the past during their training sessions, and yet he had somehow forgotten it, partially due to blind panic.
But even if he hadn’t forgotten this crucial piece of advice, he wouldn’t have been able to protest against Kat anyway. He was far too deep in hysterics to say anything that would be remotely coherent to the twins.
“Ana,” Kat addressed, “I think we need to end this with a Raspberry Bomb!”
“WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAT?” Cricket had no clue what that was supposed to mean, but he silently prayed that it wasn’t what he thought it was.
“Are you sure? I don’t think he’ll survive it…” Ana was hesitant to use this secret technique, recognizing that Cricket was nearing his limit.
“We’ll only use a mini version of it, okay?”
“Um…” Ana was still a little hesitant, but ultimately decided to go for it, “Alright, but try not to go overboard with it, Sis!”
And with that, Kat and Ana leaned down and blew two powerful raspberries onto Cricket’s stomach.
The only noise he made in response to the raspberries was a shrill that was certainly loud enough for Master Mantis to hear back at the training grounds. Shortly thereafter, his laughter went silent.
Recognizing that they had pushed him to his limit (and possibly even past it), the two ninjas let up, sitting by his side with apologetic looks on their faces as he struggled to regain control of his breathing and the leftover giggles that were still in his system. When his breathing returned to normal, Ana spoke up.
“Are you okay, Cricket? Did we overdo it?” She nervously asked him.
“A little bit, but I’ll be fine.” He let out a small chuckle, “Hey, remind me to never underestimate you two ever again, alright?”
“Ah, so you have learned your lesson! Sis, the Raspberry Bomb worked!” Kat’s eyes were practically sparkling with happiness, and so were Ana’s.
As they began to jump with joy, they failed to notice Cricket carefully pushing himself up off of the sand. He slowly crept over to the two kindergarteners and caught them mid-jump.
“Huh? Cricket?” Kat questioned before she and Ana were gently pinned down underneath of him.
“U-um, what are you doing?” Kat said with a slight stutter. Now it was the twins’ turn to be nervous, noticing the smirk on his face.
“Oh, nothing~ I’m just teaching you two a lesson on how to heed your own advice!”
He slowly drifted his left hand down to Kat’s right side, and his right hand down to Ana’s left side, “You can’t expect me to take your advice to heart when neither of you will do the same!”
Kat and Ana only got out a “We’re-“ before their apologies were cut off by the sudden feeling of a hand on their sides.
“I know you’re sorry, but I’m afraid ‘sorry’ isn’t going to cut it this time around!” He couldn’t help but laugh at the slight widening of their eyes, and he decided to rile them up a bit more by teasing them, “Neither of you believe me, do you? Well, if that’s the case…” Cricket let his voice trail off as his hands began to tickle Kat and Ana’s sides, “…I’ll show you how serious I am!”
He didn’t know if he had ever heard the two ninjas squeal before, but if he had, then those squeals were nothing compared to the ones they let out as soon as tickling began.
If Mantis somehow failed to hear the deafening shrill Cricket let out earlier, he definitely heard Kat and Ana’s high-pitched squeals.
Perhaps Kat and Ana would be embarrassed if they knew that their squeals might have caught the attention of Mantis, but Cricket could care less about that at the moment. He was too busy getting revenge on the twins to even consider the possibility of Mantis showing up to make sure that everyone was alright (and the punishment he might get if he caught him “attacking” the twins).
Once again, he couldn’t help but laugh as Kat and Ana giggled and squirmed under his hands, and as he went on a hunt to find the spots that would make the ninjas cackle uncontrollably, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for his cockiness.
Normally, he hated it when he got cocky, since he believed that cockiness would only result in him hurting other people on an emotional level (his former training partner was an unfortunate victim of this). However, today’s events taught him two valuable lessons. First, do not underestimate the enemy, no matter who or what they are. Second, cockiness, if one handled it correctly, could put a smile onto someone’s face, the polar opposite of what Cricket once believed.
He would have to discuss this lesson with his master in the near future, and see if he could use it to better himself in some way. For now, however, he was busy putting a smile on Kat and Ana’s faces…
..and secretly hoped that they wouldn’t take notice of the fact that he’d never once told them to stop while they were tickling him.
