Do you have any Lee!moon crumbs to share? There’s a disappointingly small amount of him getting wrecked for his sassy behavior where I’ve looked (apologies if this seems rude or pushy in any way, you absolutely do not even have to acknowledge this, just curious)
Here’s a short fic I worked on today!! Hope ya like it!
Sass Attack
Summary:
When Moon has a rough day, he accidentally lets it out on his family. His brothers realize this needs to be fixed and quickly, so they alert the expert.
There’s only one way to chase away the grumps and sassiness.
The kids had only just gone home and the day wasn’t quite over yet, but Moondrop felt run down and ragged.
There was still a daycare to clean and patrols to do.
Moon didn’t feel like any of it. He just wanted to lay down and maybe even sleep.
“AAAAAALRIGHTY!” Sun declared getting Moon to jump from the sudden loud proclamation.
“Rrrgh…must you be so loud..” Moon hissed lowly while Eclipse joined them, the eldest tilted his head at Moon while Sun didn’t seem to quite hear him.
“We’ve got a lot of cleaning up to do and we’ll need all hands on deck! Clipsey, I need you to wipe down the craft tables, make sure all supplies are back in their place, and all paint brushes are cleaned!”
“On it~” Eclipse giggled while Moon tiredly shook his head
“Moon! As usual, you’re in charge of cleaning the naptime area! All blankets and pillows in their proper place, wipe down and stack the cots-“
“Want me to get the feather duster out? Put on an apron and sing for the pigeons in the alley to help?”
Sun froze and blinked trying to process what he heard. He looked at his twin, confused.
“What?”
“I didn’t stutter.”
Sun clicked his rays but shook his head a moment later to get the ridiculous statement out of his head.
“Moon this isn’t a time to be silly!”
Moon crossed his arms, raising one hand to mimic the talking motion.
“Moon, meh meh meh meh..”
Sun stared a moment, before placing a hand on his hip.
“Are you making fun of me?”
“I dunno, am I?”
“Moonie!”
“Sunny!”
“Alright alright!” Eclipse stepped between the twins, holding his arms out before they could be nose to nose.
“That’s enough, there’s too much to do for you two to be arguing.”
Moon huffed. “Who said I was arguing?”
Eclipse gave his younger brother a look before sighing.
“Moon, why don’t you go ahead and get your patrols done early. Sun and I can handle things here.”
“But-!” Sun tried to speak but a quiet calm look from Eclipse stopped him.
“Oh..um yeah! You get your patrols done.”
Moon glanced between his brothers but huffed.
“Fine. I’ll be back later.”
While Moon left the daycare, Eclipse watched for a moment to make sure he was gone before taking Sun’s hand.
“Eep! Hey! Clipsey we gotta clean!”
“In a minute, Sunny.” Eclipse promised, waiting for the wire to come down. As he hooked it on, he wrapped his arms around Sun’s torso.
“I wanna tell Mom about Moon’s behavior…I don’t think he’s in the best of moods.”
Sun blinked. “Huh…well, that explains the attitude…”
“Sassier than you.”
“H-Hey!”
Eclipse giggled as they reached the balcony, entering to find the large mass of cream and orange colored fur.
The dragon hound lifted her head and smiled.
“You boys done with yer work already? It’s barely 7 now.”
Sun hurried to greet their mother with a hug, grunting with effort as he tried to give her a big squeeze without much success since he couldn’t get his arms around her.
“Actually we needed to talk to you mom.” Eclipse smiled softly.
Ana leaned down to lick Sun’s rays, earning a squeak and a giggle.
“Everything okay?” Ana asked then, leaning over to nuzzle Eclipse.
“It’s Moon.” Sun frowned lightly while Eclipse hugged her snout.
“He’s not in the best mood today. Acting rather…” Eclipse trailed off to find the right word. Though Sun seemed to have the perfect one.
“Bratty.”
Ana raised a brow.
“That so?”
“The amount of sass exceeds even Sun’s” Eclipse sighed, earning another playful glare from the smaller star.
“I see…well good news is, I know exactly how to cure that.” Ana smirked sitting up then. She gently nudged her two boys.
“You go on and get yer work done. I’ll handle yer brother.”
“Thanks mom, knew you could.”
“See you soon mama!!”
As they went back to clean and finish their nightly chores, Ana got up and stretched before heading out to wait by the doors to the daycare for Moon to return.
The hour passed, Moon didn’t hurry back either. He was in no rush to help clean and he was sure his brothers hadn’t quite finished.
“Alright Sun, I’m ba-AAAACK!” Moon yelped out as he was scooped up the moment he walked past the threshold to the daycare.
“H-hey!” He turned his head seeing Ana holding him by the neck collar like a kitten. “Mom! Put me down!!”
Ana hummed lightly as she carried her screeching bat back up to the loft.
Sun and Eclipse watched for a moment.
“How much trouble do you think he’s in?” Eclipse asked to which Sun giggled.
“You know mom, when she knows any of us needs cheering up, she goes aaaall out!”
“Well, that is true…” Eclipse sighed amused.
Meanwhile in the loft, Ana made her way to her nest and plopped herself down. She kept Moon in her jaws while he squirmed and whined.
“Moooooom! Come on!”
He got a chuckle from her as she laid him in her arms and began licking his face.
“H-hehehey!” He snickered, trying to push her away and suppress the ticklish giggles bubbling up. “What are you doing, I gotta work mom!”
“Nah, yer patrols are done for now and yer brothers are handling things. For now, I heard someone had a case of sassinitis grumptitus~” Ana chuffed.
Moon froze as soon as the end of that sentence left her lips. That’s what their mother called it whenever Sun was being overly sassy. And for some reason, the silly fake disease always got each of them shy and giddy. That reason really being cause they knew what comes next.
“N-no I don’t…” Moon muttered, crossing his arms and looking away. “I don’t know what Sun and Eclipse told you but they’re wrong”
“You don’t?” Ana smirked moving her head so he had to look at her. “You mind if I run some tests to check that?”
Moon looked at her in confusion. “Tests?”
Ana nodded as she gently moved him to lay him comfortably. She hummed as she scanned over him.
“Let’s see…eyes aint nearly as bright as they usually are. This pointy cute lil nose…” she gently grabbed the tip of said appendage between two fingers and wiggled it, Moon snorting lightly.
“Mhm, still cute as ever. Moving on.”
Her paws moved to squeeze his cheeks and stroke the crescent under his jaw, getting a few giggles out of him.
“Myehahaha! Mahaham!”
“That smile isn’t nearly as big as it usually is.”
“Ihihit is toohoohoo!”
“No, it can get so much bigger than this.” Ana smiled as she took Moon’s arms and lifted them above his head to keep them there with one paw.
“But the real telling symptom?” She lowered her head to whisper dramatically.
“Is saying you don’t have it~ and there’s only one cure for it~”
Moon snorted, feeling the anxiety of anticipation bubbling up in his belly. Part of him wanted to give in but the other part…
“Where did you get your medical degree?” He shot with a snicker.
Ana grinned down at him.
“I’ll have you know that I’ve worked hard to be able to spot this sort of thing out just so I can chase it away~”
“Nice dodging the question moAHAHAM AHAHAA H-HEHEY!”
Moon’s snark was cut off when he felt claws scribbling along his left side.
“Hold still now, Moonberry~ gotta get that nasty lil infection out of ya!” The dragon teased as her claws jumped from his left side to his right and back again.
Moon squealed out, squirming side to side in an attempt to avoid the paw to no avail.
“Moon…that’s not staying still baby. I can’t help you if you don’t~”
Ana chuffed holding her paw just above him in a tease
Moon giggle whined, trying to move his torso away, eyes stuck on that menacing paw.
“I-ihihi khkhkhkhcan’t hehehelp ihihit!”
“You caaaan’t~?” Ana sang lowering her paw slightly. “Well guess I’ll just have to keep a good hold of you huh my lil bat?”
Moon let out a squeak, bringing his legs up to try and protect his belly. Ana chuckled.
“Ohh I think that Sass and grumps is trying to stop me. Don’t worry sugastar, I don’t give in so easily!”
Her free paw went right under his right underarm, tickling at the ball joints.
Moon kicked his legs out, now trying to yank his arms down. Ana had them in a good hold however, her little star being able to only wiggle in place while claws wiggled against the ball joints, every now again grazing the even more sensitive wires that stuck out.
“There we go! Now yer not so curled up! Just what I wanted!”
Moon hiccuped as the tickles slowed, he opened an eye at her.
“Wh-whahat are hic you-youhoohoo hic planning..?” He
Ana’s lips pulled into a playful grin.
“Oh I just needed an opening to chase away that infection…you know what scares it the most?”
Moon snickered and shook his head, the bell in the little star slightly jingling.
“Just a little of….THIS!”
She took a breath and blew a raspberry directly in the middle of Moon’s belly. The naptime attendant’s eyes went wide as a squeal escaped his voice box. He tried arching away from the evil tactic but there was no escape.
Moon kicked his legs and squirmed as much as he could. He jolted again when Ana released his hands and suddenly began lightly scratching his sides, all while another raspberry was planted over his dent.
Moon couldn’t decide whether or not he wanted to push her paws away or her snout, switching between trying to shove both away while he laughed freely.
“NONONONAHAHAOHOHOHO!! MAHAHAHAMAHAHAAA! GYEEHEEHEEHEE! OHOHOKAY OHOHOKAY PFFTHAHAHA! IM SAHAHARRY IM SAHAHARRIHIHIII! KHHHKHKHKHKHEEE R-RED! REHEHED! IHIHIM FUHUHUHULL!!”
Hearing their go to code, she stopped and let him breathe, chuckling as she nuzzled him.
“Did I get it all~?”
Moon hiccuped and nodded, lifting his arms to hug around her head and nuzzling back.
Moon moved to lay against her chest, nuzzling into the soft fur while he gathered his thoughts into words.
“I…don’t know. I don’t have much of an excuse. It was just a really long day, I’ve been tired and just…didn’t feel like it today, I guess.”
Ana nodded.
“That seems to be a common thing with you and yer brother.” She wrapped her paw around him to hold him. Her boys had their moments, their flaws, things that made them more alive than just any other robot.
Moon sighed. “Sorry.”
“I ain’t the one to apologize to hun. That would be yer brothers.”
Moon nodded in understanding. He did give Sun a bit of bite after all.
“Right…I will.”
Then he shrunk back a little shyly.
“This uh…doesn’t replace our bedtime games does it..?”
The dragon hound raised a brow playfully and chortled a bit.
“Not if you don’t want it to. I’m happy to play with you boys whenever you’d like.”
Moon smiled at that and hugged around her face.
“Thanks mom..”
“Of course. Now, go see if yer brothers need anymore help, then we can relax and play. Deal?”
“Deal.” Moon grinned, standing up and heading back toward the balcony.
“See you in a few mom, love you.”
“Love you too sugastar, see ya in a bit.”
Ana smiled and laid her head back down to wait for all three of her boys to return for the night
TW: This gets a bit heavy in the first half! Lots of angst! @afloofwithmultipleinterests helped me with a tease uwu
Summary:
Moon’s having thoughts about himself. Does he really matter? Is he special? Why do people prefer Sun over him? As he sits alone in the dark with nothing but his thoughts, Ana comes to find him and talk to him. To help her pup’s mind out of the dark.
Silence.
Darkness.
Not a single noise disrupted this night.
One would almost consider it peaceful. But Moondrop considered it…lonely. Silence could be deafening. Moon’s mind was pounding.
He sat on the back of a bunny cart, the carousel absolutely still for the night. Not broken, it was just fixed.
Moon had come out to the daycare playground. The carousel was the main attraction, which made everyone want to visit.
Moon wanted to sit and stare at the stars. It was the only time and only way he would be able to. But it was a cloudy night, the stars and the actual moon were hidden behind them.
Moon sighed and raised his arms behind his head, trying to ignore the inner voice berating him in his head. But it just seemed to get louder and louder the longer the silence went on.
Sitting out here when you have patrols.
It’s the only thing you can do right and here you are! Staff is right, you are useless.
Can’t even do naptime right. Look at yourself! What kind of caretaker looks like THIS?! Moon flinched, his hand going up to his faceplate to feel it. The wide smile on his face, sharp shark like teeth, he could see the light from his red eyes glowing against his arm. Moon growled a bit and pulled his nightcap over his face.
Oh yes! Growling like that is perfect…for scaring the kids, for making them hate you. For making them run straight to Sun.
What good are you?! You can’t protect anyone, you can’t keep anyone safe, look how easily you were infected by that DAMN virus! Everyone either thinks you’re creepy or dangerous. You. Are. Nothing.
Moon curled up on the bunny cart, bringing his knees up to his chest and hiding his face in his arms.
“Moonberry?”
Moon flinched at the voice calling his nickname. He peeked over his arms, seeing the familiar sea green eyes of his mother glowing slightly in the dark. She couldn’t fit inside to get to him, but her long neck snaked past a few bars and characters to get as close as possible.
“Whatcha doin out here by yerself?” Ana asked, gently tilting her head.
Moon was quiet for a moment. He swallowed down the imaginary lump in his imaginary throat.
“I just…needed to be alone for a bit…”
“...Do you still want to be alone..?” Ana asked carefully. Moon looked off to the side. After a moment, he shook his head, face still buried in his arms.
“Think you can come a lil closer then..?”
Moon nodded and then slowly slid off where he was seated and moved to a chicken cart closer to his mom.
Ana watched him as he went into his previous position. Her ears lowered in worry.
“Alright…what’s wrong Moonberry?”
“....” Moon sighed again. “I’m useless…”
Ana blinked, taken back by that. “What? Where did that thought come from?”
Moon gave a shrug. “Moon…” the dragon hound gently warned. “Come on, you can tell me anything…”
The starry daycare attendant quickly wiped the tears he felt threatening to spill. Unlike Sunny who would cry when he was alone, Moon didn’t cry at all. He tried not to. Monsters didn’t cry…right?
“Everyone just sees me as a monster. The kids are scared of me, the staff thinks I’m dangerous. I’m just…I’m so tired of it…”
Ana lowered her ears. That had seemed to hit her pretty hard as well. Moon continued on.
“On top of that I just…I don’t think I can really do anything around here. I was supposed to be a protector and a caretaker, but once I got infected I…I couldn’t even do that…so many kids lost and it was all MY fault! I let Carlyle down!”
“...Moon-”
“Maybe Sun would be better off without me…”
“Now you stop that right there, mister!”
Moon jolted a bit at the sudden firmness to Ana’s voice.
“I ain’t gonna have that. You know just as well as I do, Sun would be devastated without you. And so would I.”
“...But I’m just a monster…”
Ana shook her head, using her paw to lift Moon’s head toward her gently.
“No, yer my Moonberry. Yer Sunny’s brother and best friend. You may act like a mischievous lil gremlin but ya ain’t a monster hun.”
Moon averted his gaze. He knew she was trying to help but…it was hard to believe her words. Ana sighed, seeing her affirmations weren’t working too well…
“Moon, sugarstar, I know it hurts…but I also know you. You are a protector. You do yer absolute best to make sure Sun feels safe and happy. Just as you do with everyone.”
“But…but all those kids…”
“It wasn’t yer fault. It never was. You had no control, remember? You weren’t yerself and I know it didn’t leave you yerself…you had no control of that glitch honey…”
“But… the staff…”
“Know literally nothing. Not the Moon I know. Not the Moon who I’ve seen do anything for those he cares about.”
Moon stared at his mother. He held her paw against his faceplate. She waited for him to say something but he was quiet. So she went on, all while gently stroking his cheek with a finger.
“Moon…Do you remember the day we met?”
Moon froze a moment and looked up at her in question. He wasn’t sure where she was going with that but…his curiosity peaked.
“Y-yes…It was after I chased Marie when I thought she stole some kids…I found you two under the pizzaplex, hiding and just…trying to eat and survive.”
Ana nodded. “And do you remember what you did? Every day during yerr patrols?”
“...I brought you leftovers from the concession stands and snacks that Sun made for you…just so you had something, anything to eat.”
“Exactly. Would a monster do that?”
Moon’s eyes widened. He looked down…and shook his head.
“You not only did that, but you kept us a secret. As best as you could at least, until Sunny found out later.” She chuckled lightly. “You didn’t have to do any of that. You were mine and Marie’s savior for a while…You boys are definitely my savior.”
“Huh…?” The night time animatronic questioned, looking back up at her. “What…What do you mean?”
Ana smiled at him, lowering her head to lightly bonk foreheads with him.
“Before I met you boys, I was a very bitter person. I wasn’t happy when I was human. I lost my life to those men and…that angel turned me into this all because I said I hated my kind. Once Najada found me and I became friends with Marie…I was appreciative, sure. But you saw how I was when you came down that vent…”
“Hehehe…” Moon chuckled, looking down. “Yeah…you took months to open up…”
“And I wish I had a lot sooner.” Ana chuffed, booping noses with him. “But when I finally got to know you boys, and I adopted you, every moment I’ve spent with you has been the best moments of my life, between both of them, I wouldn’t give up what I have now for the world. And that’s after being treated like a monster, being labeled a beast of wrath and vengeance.”
“You’re not any of that though! You’re sweet and kind and strong, you keep us safe and happy and-”
“Yer the same way.”
Moon stopped at the interruption, he looked up at his smirking mother and squinted at her. “...You told me that so you could turn compliments on me huh?”
“See? Yer so clever you figured that out right quick!”
Moon snorted, chuckling as Ana licked his faceplate. He gently pushed her muzzle away.
“I’m serious though, I’m better because of you and Sun. You boys pulled my heart out of the cold and dark. I think that’s pretty special.”
Moon smiled at that, hugging his mother’s face as they touched foreheads again. He still felt something eating at him.
“But Sun…”
“Hm?”
“Everyone likes Sun so much better and I…” Moon felt horrible for saying it.
“...Are you jealous…?” Ana asked gently.
Moon’s breath hitched as the tears finally fell. He hiccuped and sobbed softly, not looking at Ana. The dragon lowered her ears, she sat up on her haunches and gently scooped Moon into her arms and held him close to her chest. Moon buried his face into her fur, sobbing against her.
“I-I’m sorry…! I don’t mean to feel this way but I can’t help it…! Everyone praises Sun! Staff doesn’t like either of us but-but they still prefer him over me! They’re all so scared of me! What makes him so special?! What makes ME special?!”
Ana’s eyes softened on her pup and his angry hurt words. She hummed.
“What makes you special? I could make a list millions of miles long…and it still wouldn’t be enough to describe everything I love about you, Moonberry…”
Moon sniffed, pulling away to wipe his eyes. “You-you’re just saying that cause you can’t actually think of anything…”
Ana raised a brow at him and smirked. “Actually I was trying to spare you but if you really want me to start listing things off…” she moved him in her arms and cradled him, starting to kiss and lick his face as she spoke.
“Yer sweet.” A kiss. “Yer clever.” A lick. “Yer able to stay calm in intense situations.” A nuzzle to the nose. “Quick on yer feet, more flexible than a rubber hose, and don’t think I haven’t seen you dancing on yer wire. Yer damn good at that.” She attacked his cheek with a barrage of kisses, hamming up a few “Mwah!”s
Moon couldn’t stop the giggles that bubbled up out of his voice box.
“Maaaahahahaaam!”
“Ohhh that’s right! The lil rasp to your voice and giggles just makes you sound extra cute and bringin em out just makes you so much more adorable~!” Ana cooed, nuzzling his cheek now. Moon giggled more, feeling her whiskers teasing his crescent.
“Okahahay! Mahahahaaaam! I gehehet ihihit!”
Ana chuckled as he placed his hands on her muzzle but didn’t even try to really push her away.
“What? But I haven’t even scratched the surface!”
Moon snickered, hugging her muzzle. The love from his mother started to warm him up…At least a little. As he rubbed under his mother’s chin, he sighed.
“I still feel bad for being jealous of Sun…”
Ana hummed with a nod. “Well sugarstar, maybe that’s something you both need to sit down and talk about.”
Moon nodded sadly. “I know…I’m just…scared…”
Ana flicked her ears back, tilting her head lightly.
“Has he heard any of this?”
Moon shook his head. “No…I’ve blocked him from hearing or seeing anything for now. Pretty sure he’s still sound asleep…I didn’t want to hurt him or scare him…I wish it was easier to tell him but…”
“Scared of his reaction?” Ana asked gently, earning a nod from Moon. “Well, I know it’s a real fear, hun, but…Sun loves you. Yer best friends, twins, a team. Ain’t a thing that can truly come between you two. You just need to talk. Both of ya…yer yin and yang. One can’t be without the other.”
“...Will you be there?”
Ana lowered her ears a bit. “I can be nearby…but don’t think I can do much else while y’all are talkin to each other in yer head.”
Moon sighed and nodded. He knew she was right. He just wished this was easier. “Okay…Thanks mom.”
“Anytime honey. Do you wanna head back?”
Moon looked up at her then lowered his gaze, he cuddled into her fur and nodded. “I guess so…”
Ana firmed her lips as she moved Moon to sit on her back. “Tell you what, let’s get back to the loft and then, we’ll put a smile back on that handsome face of yers.”
Moon snorted lightly at the comment. His mother being a mother…it still got to him.
“Sure mom…” he agreed, not quite catching onto her plan.
Ana hadn’t wasted a moment. She carried Moon back to the daycare. As she moved closer to the ballpit, she turned her head to look over her shoulder.
“Hang on tight, sugastar.”
Moon nodded, gripping onto her mane as she crouched down like a cat preparing a pounce. Then she leaped up into the air and onto the balcony, tail dangling off of it as she ducked her head and strolled the rest of the way in. The dragon proceeded to fix up the little nest she had of blankets and pillows and an old small air mattress Marie had dragged in so the boys would have somewhat of a bed. Sun patched it up, and they were surprised yet glad to see the pump still worked.
Ana hummed at the nest in approval, she looked to the arcade machine in the corner and rubbed her head against it as if to greet it before moving her neck to pick Moon up in her jaws by his middle. She went to place him on the nest but held him over it for a moment. Moon blinked and turned his head to look up at his mother.
“Mom-?ACK!” She gently dropped him safely into the nest, the extra padding keeping the bot from making much of a thud or harming him. He couldn’t help but laugh a little. “Hehehey!”
Ana chuckled, plopping herself down beside him. “There’s a bit of a laugh. Let’s see if we can keep it going.”
Moon stiffened at those words. Keep it going…? Uh oh.
“Wh-wh-what do you mean?” Moon asked nervously, watching his mother’s arms move to either side of him.
“Oh as if you don’t know~” Ana cooed. “How do I always cheer up my boys?”
The nap attendant gulped, more nervous giggles bubbling out of him.
“M-mahaham, come ahahan!”
“What is it, Moonberry? Yer gonna tell me you don’t want it?”
Moon shifted his eyes back and forth, he whined and pulled his cap down over his face.
“That’s not faaaair!”
Ana chuckled, lowering her head to nuzzle the pointy nose still poking out. “Does my Moonpie want tickles or not~”
She got another whine. “Mmmm…please…”
Ana hummed a chuckle as she made sure he was comfortable. Moon giggled from anticipation alone.
“So giggly already, my sweet lil Moonberry loves this game huh?”
“Shhuhuhuhut uhup! Dohohon’t tehehease!”
“I’m not doing anything gigglebot~!”
But she was and she knew it. Sun loved when she got silly, playful, whenever tickles were made into a game. Moon? Moon loved when someone got him going with a stream of sweet teases, kind words and affirmations. Paired with actual tickles, it was the perfect way to melt the seemingly stoic night time animatronic.
Moon snickered, kicking his feet and hiding his face so she couldn’t see the purple glow that dusted his cheeks. Though that didn’t mean she didn’t know it was there.
Ana then proceeded to gently wiggle her fingers against Moon’s sides. The nap attendant immediately squawked and squirmed.
“W-wahahait! What are-ahare you DOHOHOHOING?! GYEEEHEHEHEEE! N-nahahat thehehehere!!”
Ana chuckled as she teased the ball joints and wires that poked out from under his arms. Moon tried to lock his arms down on reflex but Ana’s paws weren’t budging.
“Tiiiickle tickle tickle~” Ana purred. “My sweet giggly lil bat~”
“Pfft! I-ihihi’m nyaahahaat a bahahaat!”
“Really? Are you sure? Yer as squeaky as a bat. I’ve seen ya hanging upside down like one. You love the night, and I know I’ve watched you eat a bug like it was a piece of chocolate.”
Moon shook his head. “N-nyooohohoho…”
He finally peeked out from under his hat. Only to see his momma lift his left arm and nuzzle the paneling under his upper arm. Moon screeched and cackled. He twisted his body a bit and kicked his legs.
“That sounds like a bat screeching to me, sugar.” Ana teased, releasing his arm and letting him lock them down and hug himself around his chest.
“Srnkhkhkhkh…you…you buhuhuhully.” Moon giggled, his smile only growing goofier as Ana cupped his cheeks. She kissed his nose and trailed one finger along his chin, the bottom of the crescent and booping a couple craters. Moon let out a barrage of squeaks and giggles with a few loud squawks here and there when her claw wiggled in a crater.
“Listen to you~! My big bad night guardian squeaking like the cutest lil bat in the starry sky~!”
Moon giggle-whined, trying his best not to curl up. His family knew how to make him feel small, precious, special…they were able to melt away any bad thoughts and let him know just how good he was.
“M-mahahamahahaaa!”
“Yes Moonberry?”
“Khkhkhkheehehehee! S-Sohohohomewhere ehehehelse!”
Ana smiled down at him as she pulled her paws away. She easily recognized that as a plea for more tickles. She knew her boys after all.
“Alright hun, where next?”
Moon whined. “Dohohon’t make me sahahay!”
Ana laughed a bit. “Alright alright, I won’t. How about…” She rested her paw over his belly. “This a good spot?”
Moon flinched, squeaky raspy giggles flooding out of him. He nodded quickly, twitching underneath his mother’s paw.
“Ready?”
“Nyooohohohoo…?”
“No? So I absolutely shouldn’t do this, yea?” She wriggled her claws lightly. Moon let out a yip and broke into laughter, wiggling under the claws which only seemed to help the tickles.
Ana laughed with him, more than happy to see her quieter pup having so much fun.
“Geez Moonie, I don’t have to do anything do I? I can just keep my claws curled like this and yer squirming will tickle you enough huh?”
“I-I cahahahan’t hehelp ihihit! Gyah! Mahahaham! Tstststststsss!” Moon hissed through his teeth, the sprinkler laugh only getting Ana to join him again in the joyful laughter.
“Well how about I try this?” She asked, taking both her paws and gently scritching at his lower belly on either side. Moon sputtered, throwing his head back to release a loud squeal followed by cackling. He kicked his legs, hands on his mother’s paws though making no effort to push them away.
“AAAHAHAHAHAAA MAAAHAHAHAHAAAAM OHOHOHO NYAAAHAHAHAHAAOOO!! THAHAHATS SOHOHO BAHAHAAAAD!”
“Is it? Funny, yer not really trying to stop me, Moonberry.” She smirked at him. She let out a playful gasp. “Oooh! Are you having fun~?”
“SHUHUHUHUUUSHSHSHSHSHSHH!!” Moon reached right back up to pull his hat back up over his head. Ana hummed a chuckle. She kept one paw crawling and skittering like a spider around his belly, leaving Moon a giggling mess.
“Tickle tickle little star~”
Moon flinched when he recognized that tune.
“W-Wahahait! Mom! Mahaham dohohohon’t!”
Ana grinned at him. One thing neither of her boys could stand were the nursery rhymes. Ironic for some daycare attendants eh?
“Moooon~ It’s rude to interrupt, baby. Let me try that again. Ahem..
Tickle tickle little star~
How I wonder where yer giggles are
Up yer sides, across yer ribs,
Up yer belly, and top yer shins
Tickle tickle little star,
I know where yer giggles are~” Moon squealed and cackled, pulling himself in a sitting position and flopping back down. He curled onto his side hugging himself as Ana pulled her paws away to let him take a moment to calm down.
“You okay Moonberry?”
Moon nodded, still giggling. “You-Yohohou are sohohoho mehehehean…”
Ana chuckled, leaning her head down to nuzzle his cheek. “Sorry honey, do you want me to stop? Didn’t know that would get you so bad.”
Moon peaked up at her and shook his head. “N-No…”
Ana smiled in amusement, brow raised at her baby. “No? You boys are such gluttons ya know that?”
Moon huffed. “Am not…”
“Whatever you say, sugarstar~” Ana chuffed, nuzzling his belly, right over the dent. Moon squeaked, melting into more giggles as he sat up again and hugged his mother’s face.
“This lil dent gets you boys so bad huh?”
“Snrkhkhkhkh! M-Mahahahaybehehe…” the night animatronic tittered.
Ana smirked and flicked her tongue out just as a snake would. Moon let out a squeal, kicking his legs and pushing at her nose.
“Pffftheheheheheee! Khkhkheheh, thahahat’s cheheheatihihihing!”
Ana chuckled lovingly, letting him release her as he laid back down.
“Want me to try the same thing I did with Sunny?” She asked. Moon looked off to the side in thought and nodded shyly. He kicked off his slippers, watching her fluffy tail snake around and coil around his ankles. Moon squeaked and scrunched his toes. The anticipation was bubbling in his belly.
“Nervous Moonberry?”
“A-A little…” Moon admitted, never taking his eyes off that fluffy tip. He knew how Sun reacted. Moon’s feet were just as bad if not worse.
“You know what to do if it gets too much.” Ana assured, kissing above his nose and between his eyes. Moon nodded and took a breath.
“I’m ready…”
Ana nodded, dusting her tail over the bottoms. Moon yipped and immediately tried to yank his feet back.
“WAIT WAIT WAHAHAHAHAIT!! GYAHAHAHAHAHAHKHKHKHKHKHHHH MAHAHAHAAAAM!!”
He tried to kick his legs out but Ana had him in a good hold while the fluff danced over his blue starry sparkle paw pads. He turned his torso to hug a pillow and laugh into it.
Ana chuckled with him. “Alright honey…get ready!” She flossed the fur through his toes, catching Moon entirely off guard despite the warning.
“NYAHAHAHAHAAAAA!! OHOHOHO MY GAHAHAHAHAAASH! NONONOOOHOHOHOOO THAHAHATS AHAHAHAHAHAWFUHUHUHUHUUUL!! GYAHAHAHAHAHEEHEHEHEHEEE!”
Ana shook her head with a smile at her pup cackling his head off. She kept it up though, despite how much he squirmed and screamed. He still hadn’t given the sign to stop.
Just as she had done to Sun, she released his ankles and skittered her claws gently across the pads and little toe beans. Moon squawked loud enough to put a screaming seagull to shame. He let go of the pillow he hugged onto and wrapped his arms around himself.
“MAHAHAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAM!! PFFTKHKHKHKHKHEEEHEHEHEHE! YOUR-YOUR CLAHAHAHAHAHAHAAWS! EEEEEHEHEHEHEEE!! NYAHAHAHAHAHAOOOO!”
She started scratching between his toes and finally, Moon fully broke.
“BWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!! NONONONONO!! NYAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAAOOOO!! OKOKOKOKAHAHAHAHAY!! RED! REHEHED MAHAHAM REHEHEHEHEHEEEED!”
And just like that, it ended.
Moon gulped down breath after breath, even if he technically didn’t need it. His giggles slowly died back down until he was simply making happy tired murps. His fans turned on high making it sound like he was purring, especially as Ana gathered her sprawled out pup and held him to her.
“Better Moonpie?”
“B-behehetter…hehehe…l-lohohove you mahahamahaha..”
“I love you too, sugarstar.” She smiled, licking his nose. She gathered a few blankets, wrapping them around him like a cocoon. Moon nuzzled into the coziness.
“Moondrop.”
“Yea mom..?” Moon yawned.
“You know yer my special lil moonberry yea?”
Moon blinked and looked up at her.
“And you know nothing would ever change that?”
Moon felt himself tremble from her words. He giggled a little, he wasn’t sure if it was phantom tickles or if he was just…really happy and comfy.
“I do…but, I think I need to be reminded sometimes…”
Ana hummed and nodded. “I would be more than happy to do that…and I’m sure Sun would be happy to remind you how much you mean to him.”
Moon snickered. He laid his head back down, he and Sun would certainly have to talk later…a lot happened tonight. But for now, Moon was tired. Soon the lights would come on and Sun would be out. He yawned again.
“Mom..?”
“Yes hun?”
“Stay with me?”
Ana softened her eyes on him. She curled her body around the both of them.
“I wouldn’t leave you for anything in the world…either of you.”
Moon smiled at her promise and finally, he felt safe enough to doze off and rest. He had everything he ever needed…
Art dump anyone? 👀 had some major needs to wreck some celestial jesters and well…had needs for some of my older ocs so here we go!
Meet Nevera! She’s one of my old ninjago ocs from the times of me making my own serpentine tribes~
The taipanai are a strong and elusive tribe with their venom being their greatest weapon and tool! A few drops can paralyze a grown man for over an hour! But mixed with the right herbs, it can make a potent medicine!
As the saying goes, never trust a snake…Sunny likes her however~!
Fun fact about Ana, she too is adopted! Her mother being Najada! Sun and moon very lovingly refer to her as Nana or Nanajada!
And when Ana is away or busy, sun and moon are still trying to work up the courage to ask their nana for their favorite game.
Nana provides of course~
And much to the boys excitement disappointment, mama and nana will very gladly gang up on them and give them all the loving tickles they deserve~
A nuzzly huffy dragon is a horrible thing to have against your tummy~
A/N: Hi! Yes, I’m still alive! I’ve been busy with college for about two months now, but I somehow managed to write another fic in the midst of all the work I have to do for my classes!
Now I did say that I was working on a tickle fic for WarioWare, but in all technicality, I lied. You see, at the time of that post, I only had one WarioWare fic in the works, but sometime afterwards, I came up with another idea for a fic. This fic just so happens to be the fic that’s based on that idea.
The fic I was referring to in that post will be longer than this one, but because of college and a lack of motivation, I don’t have the slightest idea as to when that fic will be posted (if I even finish it at all). Since I’m not quite done with my classes at the time of this post, I decided tot write a shorter fic for the WarioWare series. I feel like that was a good idea, and here’s why:
I’ve never written a fic for WarioWare before, so I wanted to test myself and see if I could accurately replicate the personalities of the characters before I went back to work on the longer fic.
I wanted to reach my goal of ten fics before the end of the year. Luckily for me, this fic is indeed the tenth fic that I have written for this blog, so I did it! I managed to reach my goal!
I don’t know if I was successful in my attempt to replicate the personalities of the characters in this fic, but I guess I won’t know for sure until I see what you guys think of my performance!
Oh, and one more thing: since this fic is for a series I’ve never written for before, I think I should remind everyone that my fics are not romantic or NSFW in any way, shape, or form, regardless of the fandom I am writing for.
Sorry for the long author’s note, but I felt like it was necessary, especially after being gone for nearly two months straight. Now that all of the explanations and disclaimers are out of the way, onto the first ever WarioWare fic on this blog!
He only had himself to blame for all of this. Feeling confident in his skills as a martial artist, Young Cricket challenged Kat and Ana to catch him as he jumped across a small cluster of square-shaped islands off the coast of the training grounds he and Master Mantis called home. The two kindergarten-aged ninjas gave him a five second head start, but even with that slight advantage, they still caught up to him in no time flat.
Kat stopped him in his tracks by jumping onto his back and knocking him face-first onto the sand of the island smack dab in the middle of the ocean. When she checked his face and saw no signs of injury, Kat seated herself on Cricket’s torso. Ana soon caught up to them and sat down on his legs.
“We got you, Cricket!” Ana exclaimed as Kat giggled in a way that was highly unsettling to the martial arts student.
“You underestimated us, didn’t you?” The older twin questioned, an unmistakable tone of mischief in her voice.
Cricket was about to answer her, but his reply died in his throat as soon as Kat’s fingers began to skitter over his ribs. A split second later, Ana began to squeeze his kneecaps with an astonishing amount of vigor.
He tried to control the laughter that threatened to explode out of him by biting down on his lower lip, but the tingly sensation on his knees broke him and sent him into a fit of giggles.
“Hehehehehey! Thihihihihis is mehehehehan, yohohou twohohoho!”
“But you said we were free to claim our reward in any way we saw fit if we caught up to you!” Ana replied.
“Ihihihihi suppohohohohohohohose thahahahahat’s a faihihihHIHIHIHIR POHOHOHOHOHOINT! H-HEHEHEHEHEHEHY! KAHAHAHAHAHAHAT!” Cricket finally lost control of his laughter when Kat's hands snuck their way under his robes and attacked his stomach.
“Oh! Good thinking, Kat!” Ana let up on his knees and moved up to his torso, joining her sister in the tickle assault against his sensitive belly.
“What’s the matter, Cricket? Can’t handle the two of us tickling you at the same time?”
“I don’t think he can! Just look at him!” Kat stopped scribbling and unleashed a flurry of pokes to Cricket’s belly, “He’s absolutely losing it!”
The twin ninjas happily giggled at the squeaks Cricket let out in response to the pokes. Suddenly, Kat got an idea.
“You know…” She pondered, slowing her tickling down to a stop, “I think Cricket needs to be taught a lesson.”
“A lesson on how not to underestimate people?” Ana asked her sister, slowing her tickling to a stop as well.
“Yes!”
“But hasn’t he learnt that lesson already?”
Kat shook her head, “I don’t think so, so we’ll have to hammer that lesson into his head!”
“But what can we do to make sure he’s learned his lesson?”
Her questions were answered when she saw Kat remove Cricket’s robe and lift up the tank top he wore underneath it.
“Ohhhh, I see!” She exclaimed, giggling once more at the horrified look in Cricket’s eyes.
“Ready, Sis?”
“Ready!”
“W-wait, no! You can’t do that! You can’t tickle my bare stomach! I can’t hahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHANDLEHEHEHEHEHEHE THAHAHAHAHAHAHT, NOHOHOHOHOHOHO!” His pleas fell on deaf ears and were quickly drowned out by laughter as the twins resumed their tickling, mercilessly digging their fingers into his slightly toned tummy.
“You shouldn’t have told us that~!” Ana teased, focusing her efforts on his lower belly, while Kat focused on the rest of his belly and occasionally poked at his navel.
“Yeah, you shouldn’t have said anything if you didn’t want us to tickle you here! You do realize that telling someone to not tickle you in a certain spot will only encourage them to tickle you in that spot, right?”
Cricket wished he could argue against that, but found that he couldn’t. His master had warned him about this several times in the past during their training sessions, and yet he had somehow forgotten it, partially due to blind panic.
But even if he hadn’t forgotten this crucial piece of advice, he wouldn’t have been able to protest against Kat anyway. He was far too deep in hysterics to say anything that would be remotely coherent to the twins.
“Ana,” Kat addressed, “I think we need to end this with a Raspberry Bomb!”
“WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAT?” Cricket had no clue what that was supposed to mean, but he silently prayed that it wasn’t what he thought it was.
“Are you sure? I don’t think he’ll survive it…” Ana was hesitant to use this secret technique, recognizing that Cricket was nearing his limit.
“We’ll only use a mini version of it, okay?”
“Um…” Ana was still a little hesitant, but ultimately decided to go for it, “Alright, but try not to go overboard with it, Sis!”
And with that, Kat and Ana leaned down and blew two powerful raspberries onto Cricket’s stomach.
The only noise he made in response to the raspberries was a shrill that was certainly loud enough for Master Mantis to hear back at the training grounds. Shortly thereafter, his laughter went silent.
Recognizing that they had pushed him to his limit (and possibly even past it), the two ninjas let up, sitting by his side with apologetic looks on their faces as he struggled to regain control of his breathing and the leftover giggles that were still in his system. When his breathing returned to normal, Ana spoke up.
“Are you okay, Cricket? Did we overdo it?” She nervously asked him.
“A little bit, but I’ll be fine.” He let out a small chuckle, “Hey, remind me to never underestimate you two ever again, alright?”
“Ah, so you have learned your lesson! Sis, the Raspberry Bomb worked!” Kat’s eyes were practically sparkling with happiness, and so were Ana’s.
As they began to jump with joy, they failed to notice Cricket carefully pushing himself up off of the sand. He slowly crept over to the two kindergarteners and caught them mid-jump.
“Huh? Cricket?” Kat questioned before she and Ana were gently pinned down underneath of him.
“U-um, what are you doing?” Kat said with a slight stutter. Now it was the twins’ turn to be nervous, noticing the smirk on his face.
“Oh, nothing~ I’m just teaching you two a lesson on how to heed your own advice!”
He slowly drifted his left hand down to Kat’s right side, and his right hand down to Ana’s left side, “You can’t expect me to take your advice to heart when neither of you will do the same!”
Kat and Ana only got out a “We’re-“ before their apologies were cut off by the sudden feeling of a hand on their sides.
“I know you’re sorry, but I’m afraid ‘sorry’ isn’t going to cut it this time around!” He couldn’t help but laugh at the slight widening of their eyes, and he decided to rile them up a bit more by teasing them, “Neither of you believe me, do you? Well, if that’s the case…” Cricket let his voice trail off as his hands began to tickle Kat and Ana’s sides, “…I’ll show you how serious I am!”
He didn’t know if he had ever heard the two ninjas squeal before, but if he had, then those squeals were nothing compared to the ones they let out as soon as tickling began.
If Mantis somehow failed to hear the deafening shrill Cricket let out earlier, he definitely heard Kat and Ana’s high-pitched squeals.
Perhaps Kat and Ana would be embarrassed if they knew that their squeals might have caught the attention of Mantis, but Cricket could care less about that at the moment. He was too busy getting revenge on the twins to even consider the possibility of Mantis showing up to make sure that everyone was alright (and the punishment he might get if he caught him “attacking” the twins).
Once again, he couldn’t help but laugh as Kat and Ana giggled and squirmed under his hands, and as he went on a hunt to find the spots that would make the ninjas cackle uncontrollably, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for his cockiness.
Normally, he hated it when he got cocky, since he believed that cockiness would only result in him hurting other people on an emotional level (his former training partner was an unfortunate victim of this). However, today’s events taught him two valuable lessons. First, do not underestimate the enemy, no matter who or what they are. Second, cockiness, if one handled it correctly, could put a smile onto someone’s face, the polar opposite of what Cricket once believed.
He would have to discuss this lesson with his master in the near future, and see if he could use it to better himself in some way. For now, however, he was busy putting a smile on Kat and Ana’s faces…
..and secretly hoped that they wouldn’t take notice of the fact that he’d never once told them to stop while they were tickling him.
I saw the character trailers for WarioWare: Gold recently, and yesterday, I thought of a Lee!Young Cricket scenario based off of Ashley’s trailer (because of course I did. The Lee!Young Cricket brainrot is finally starting to manifest itself).
You know how Young Cricket was dressed up as a zombie in the trailer (or at least, I think he was dressed up as a zombie? Either that, or he was Frankenstein’s Monster)? Well, sometimes, while he’s in the costume, he’ll start to act like a zombie and playfully scare his friends with his behavior.
One day, for some unknown reason, Kat and Ana reacted to his behavior by jumping onto his shoulders and pushing him to the ground. They then proceeded to pin him down on his back and tickle him to death, right in front of 9-Volt, Penny, Ashley, and Red.
At first, neither Kat or Ana had a reason to tickle him, but 9-Volt soon gave them a “reason” when he began to cheer for them. As soon as he told them, “Keep it up, you two! The zombie has 50 HP left!”, the two ninjas went to town, claiming that they had to save Cricket from whatever it was that transformed him into a zombie. 9-Volt continued to cheer them on as Cricket tried his best to resist the tickles, and soon enough, Penny joined in on the chaos. She was the straw that broke the camel’s back, for as soon as she got her hands on Cricket, he lost it.
Ashley and Red watched the calamity from a distance. Red was laughing at Cricket’s suffering, and Ashley called her friends idiots. However, she was smiling on the inside, because she truly cherishes her friends’ joy despite her cold exterior, and was happy to see them all laughing and messing around with each other. She was also smiling on the inside because Cricket’s laughter was highly contagious, but she’ll never admit that to anyone, not even Red.
If anyone’s wondering, no one took their costumes off at any point during the madness.
