Azul is 100% the most ticklish of the trio, but Jade is a close second. He doesn’t get tickled that often so he hasn’t really built up any defenses, and is woefully unprepared when Azul or Floyd gets revenge.
LEE JADE MY LOVE. hes so underrated i swear. thanks jazz for giving me an excuse to write this cutie getting tickled
——
to say jade wasn’t expecting floyd and azul to get him back was an understatement. he had trained himself when he was younger to be much more composed when tickling was much more common between the three, but as the ticklish interactions lessened, so did his defenses.
so when floyd had finished tickling azul to oblivion alongside jade, jade had been wholly unprepared the moment the other two had set their sights on him, almost as if it were a pre-planned attack.
suddenly, azul’s arms hooked underneath his, a tight grip that even he had difficulties moving from. and floyd, ever the eager one, had immediately begun attacking jade’s worst spots right off the bat.
“what a su-surprising.. tuhuhurn of evehehents..” jade said, trying to remain casual when he was anything but.
“hush, jade, laugh~!” floyd replied, not believing a second of jade’s effort to seem nonchalant. azul seemed much more determined, trying to tickle jade’s neck, even with the awkward angle.
“….pfh…!” jade muffled, head tilting down.
“no need to keep up this act, jade. i have to say, it’s quite pleasant seeing you like this,” azul said, a sort of playful mocking tone in his voice.
floyd began tickling under his arms, scribbling and scratching at the skin. even through his clothes, it was still a bad spot and floyd knew it.
“g-gah… flohohoyd! ahahahazul!” finally. finally. giggles from jade’s mouth filled the air as he could no longer hide his laughter.
“you’re laughing!” floyd exclaimed.
“my, who knew you could be reduced to a .. giggly mess so easily?” azul added, even though minutes earlier, he was in the same exact position. jade pulled at his arms, but azul was really strong, even more so when jade was feeling weakened.
“i c-cohohould sahahahay the sahahame for you!” jade retorted, but when he was struggling to say it within fits of laughter, it was hard to take seriously.
“tickle tickle~” floyd cooed, teasing and jade’s laughter only increased with the two tickled with more vigor. azul and floyd sent a look towards each other. maybe they should get jade more often, they said, without words.
Tattoo
Characters: Jade West, reader (romantic)
Summary: High-school sweethearts lead to matching tattoos, and a lot of love, but not without a little coaching and support from your girlfriend.
Warnings: Descriptions of tattoos, needles, fluffy girlfriends
Words: 1031
A/N: for @nctxrejects , happy happy birthday! I hope you enjoy this fic and have an amazing day <3
You were going to be fine.
No, really. You were going to be fine.
Sure, you didn’t have the best pain tolerance, and you really, really hated needles, but you were going to be fine.
You were.
“I’m not.” You blurted your words out, and your girlfriend looked back at you, her hand finding yours immediately.
“What?”
“I’m not — I don’t think I can do this.” You gestured towards the tattoo parlour, which looked a lot more threatening than it had when Jade got hers last week.
You met her gaze with sheepish eyes, but to your surprise her features were soft, and she squeezed your hand as she pulled you down a side street, giving the two of you a little privacy.
“Do you want this? Because you don’t have to get a tattoo,” she said seriously. You nodded, immediately.
“I do, really. Just, like...without the process.” You sighed, tracing your fingers over the Gengar tattoo on your girlfriend’s wrist. It just so happened to be both yours and Jade’s favourite Pokemon, and somewhat indirectly was how you’d met — Jade had overheard you mumbling to someone about it in the halls of Hollywood Arts, and here you were. Almost 3 years after graduation, hand in hand, wanting that symbol of your love immortalised on your bodies.
Jade laughed lightly. “I promise, it’s not that bad. The wrist doesn’t hurt that much.”
“To you,” you muttered, earning a poke to your ribs.
You caught her hands in yours before she could inflict any more damage, a small smile on your face.
“I’m gonna ask you this, and I want you to answer me honestly.” Jade spoke softly, her hands tugging out of your grip to cup your face. “Do you want to get the tattoo today?”
“Yes.” The word slipped past your lips before you could even think about the question, but you knew that you would’ve ended up at that answer anyway. Jade didn’t hesitate either as she pulled you closer, kissing you, her hands sliding around to the back of your neck as yours travelled to her waist. It was probably the sentimentality of today, but in that moment all you could think about was big, bad, mean Jade West in highschool with a soft spot for the Gengar girl.
That thought made you giggle into the kiss, and Jade pulled back, raising her eyebrows.
“Something funny?” Her tone and face were dead serious, but you knew her well enough to know there was no bite behind it.
“Just thinking of scary, intimidating Jade West at Hollywood Arts,” you teased. “Wonder what they’d say if they saw you getting matching Gengar tattoos with your high-school sweetheart.”
Jade’s jaw dropped, scoffing dramatically. “You don’t think I’m intimidating anymore?” She feigned disappointment. You played along.
“Maybe it’s the cuddles, or the kisses, but I’m just not scared of Jade West anymore,” you replied, grinning.
Her arms slid down from where they were resting atop your shoulders to your waist, and she pulled you into a tight squeeze with a smirk. Albeit surprised, you relaxed into her arms — until she started to tickle you.
“Jahade!” you gasped, trying (and failing) to pull away from her.
“Hm? Is this a scary enough cuddle for you?” she asked innocently, smiling fondly as you snorted and giggled. She kept you there for a few moments longer, taking great pride in the way you squeaked when her nails slipped under your shirt and trailed up your back, but she eventually relented, resorting to a poke or squeeze whenever you tried to pull away.
“Betrayal,” you mumbled when you finally did break apart, and Jade laughed, taking your hand again.
“Ready?” She tilted her head in the direction of the tattoo parlour, and while you were still just as scared as before, you nodded.
“It’d be funny if I tickled you while you’ve got that needle in your arm,” Jade hummed. You cringed, shoving her away.
“You’re sadistic, West,” you replied. When her face didn’t shift, your nerves already sky high, you continued, “You wouldn’t!” Your face screwed up just at the thought. She shrugged, apparently indifferent.
“I might.”
You rolled your eyes, her arm finding its way back around your shoulders as you entered the parlour.
The whole tattoo experience sort of went by in a blur — Jade did most of the talking, and the only thing that stood out to you was the feeling of a needle jamming ink into your arm — and squeezing your girlfriend’s hand so tight it probably left bruises.
Still, when you got home and held your wrist next to Jade’s, the matching Gengars grinning back at you, it was all worth it. You both jumped onto the couch, muscle memory taking over as you curled up to each other.
“I love you,” you said softly, over the hum of the television that served as nothing more than background noise for what would probably turn into the two of you falling asleep entangled in each other’s arms.
“I know,” she replied, bursting into laughter at the way your head shot up, indignant eyes shooting daggers at her.
“You think you’re so funny, Jade West,” you said, taking advantage of your position to swing onto her lap, fingers curling into her sides before she could get a word out. She broke into surprised giggles — the kind of giggles you knew no one else ever got to hear.
“You ahahass!” she shrieked, already retaliating, her hand latching onto your waist. The moment dissolved into squeals and laughs, which concluded with the two of you even more intertwined than before. Your hand rested in hers, her fingers tracing the tattoo absentmindedly, careful not to hurt you.
“I couldn’t have done it without you,” you whispered, kissing her hand as the rest of the room started to fade away. You felt her lips press against your temple, catching you in a moment between wake and sleep where she was all there was. A perfect moment.
You felt the hum of her voice as she spoke, and the words echoed as you drifted to sleep. “I love you too.”
jade isnt tickled often because people are afraid that he will get them back. afterall, that look in his eyes are very clear. but when they do..
he’s really good at concealing his reactions. you tickle his sides, you might get a smile out of him, but its really just you wondering if he’s mocking you. but then you keep trying, and finally find that one spot, and he’s really good at keeping it in but if you just linger there a little bit longer, he cant keep it in forever.
first, you might see his body shaking a bit, trying hard to show you that your attacks arent working in hopes youll give up and he can just get you instead. but you don’t, so comes the first giggle and then another and like a dam breaking, it all just comes out.
and he’s embarrassed. jade’s never embarrassed. and he’s trying to hide it, trying to pretend that there isnt a blush coming on, but there is and its the cutest thing youve ever seen, but he’s laughing, and its deep and breathy. jade doesnt get tickled often, but you start considering that maybe you should try it a little more, even if you know he’ll be planning his revenge the second you’re done…

“Ughhh…” Floyd groaned very audibly, walking into Jade’s room, and plopping down face-first into the bed. It was a habit of his to go to his twin when he was feeling down and didn’t feel like being alone.
Jade, who was sitting at his desk, working on his homework from the day’s classes, turned around in his chair, watching Floyd mope.
“You seem… upset,” Jade noted, pursing his lips.
“Riddle’s bein’ annoying’…” Floyd crossed his arms, pouting.
“Is he now?”
“I keep trying to talk to him, but he’s all like, ‘Get away from me, Floyd!’ or ‘I’m busy!’. Blah blah blah!” Floyd turned his head, facing the other.
Jade raised a brow. “That never bothered you before.”
“I know, but…” Floyd paused for a second, trailing off, before he let out another groan, more emphasized this time.
Jade stayed silent, thinking, before a lightbulb seemed to light up in his head. “Does this.. have anything to do with your feelings for him?”
Floyd made eye contact with his twin. “I knew nothing ever would get past you,” He replied, but didn’t deny Jade’s words.
“Did you think I wouldn’t notice my own brother skipping work to bother a certain redhead? The amount of complaints Azul has had for you recently..” Jade put a hand over his heart, feigned shock in his features.
“It doesn’t matter anyway, when he keeps avoiding me,” Floyd rolled over against the bed so he was laying on top of the pillows horizontally. Jade stood up from the desk, sitting at the edge of his bed, beside his brother.
“Perhaps, talk to him.” Jade rubbed Floyd’s back in what he hoped was a comforting matter. Floyd was never one to be against touch, especially with him, but how effective it was in cheering him up varied.
Floyd invited the touch, most likely unconsciously, but leaning into it nonetheless.
“I…” Floyd seemed shy, something that was very unlike him. Jade was sure if he was anyone else, Floyd wouldn’t be so vulnerable. “I don’t know how,” Floyd admitted with a sigh. “I’m so used to annoyin’ him and messin’ with him, but I don’t know how else to act around him.”
Floyd shoved his face into the pillow, growling at it in irritation.
“And?” Jade pushed, sensing that Floyd had more to say.
“I don’t want him to be annoyed with me anymore.”
Jade’s eyes widened. This was a very interesting thing for Floyd to say, because it was Floyd. Floyd never cared what people thought of him. Jade chuckled to himself. Love really does change people, doesn’t it?
Floyd seemed to take his chuckle as mocking and he lightly shoved him away, a half-hearted glare on his face.
“In my opinion, perhaps, start with small changes. You don’t have to switch up immediately. Slowly, you’ll adjust,” Jade told him. Plus, he had a suspicion that Riddle, if not returned his feelings, at least enjoyed his presence. If Floyd was truly a nuisance, Riddle had ways of being alone, yet he was almost always found in places where a certain eel had a high chance of appearing.
“You’re right,” Floyd huffed. “As always..”
Jade resisted another chuckle, gently pinching Floyd’s side. His smile widened when Floyd flinched. “Don’t be like that, dear brother.”
He curled his index around Floyd’s waist, eliciting a gasp from the other.
“Jade!” Floyd said, but there was no tone of annoyance detected, so Jade took that as a sign to continue. It made sense. Floyd had never been against tickling, whether he was tickling someone or he was being tickled. It was typically only Azul who would fight against it, though Jade suspected it was only to keep up pretenses. Jade brought his other hand to Floyd’s hips, squeezing at the sensitive skin.
“Yes, Floyd?” Jade tilted his head, innocently, idly tapping and gliding his fingers across Floyd’s torso. If Floyd hadn’t known what he was doing, Jade was sure it would've seemed like a mere accident.
“Stahahap ihihit! I’ll gehehet you bahahack!” Floyd didn’t bother hiding his giggles and Jade smiled. Laughter was quite a contagious thing and it seemed Jade was no less resistant to it than anyone else.
Jade swallowed, slowly. He was sure that Floyd definitely would get him back, but that was a problem for the future, he decided. His hands roamed to opposite sides of Floyd’s stomach as he scribbled and scratched any place he could reach.
The shirt Floyd was wearing provided no protection. Perhaps, if he had been wearing his full uniform, but he was only wearing the white polo shirt that was underneath anything. Perhaps, it would teach Floyd a lesson to wear his uniform properly, Jade joked to himself, knowing that it most certainly would not.
“Gahahaa! Jahahade!” Floyd flipped over, his back facing the headboard as he faced Jade, his hands uselessly pawing at Jade’s nimble fingers. Jade moved up towards his ribs, poking in between the bones and pinching the skin. Jade reveled in Floyd’s laughter becoming more high-pitched.
“You are quite ticklish. Must suck being in your position, no?” Jade teased, but Floyd seemed to not hear him, too caught up in his giggling fit, his face flushed. Despite Floyd’s flailing hands, he didn’t particularly seem to be putting in any strength in getting away from Jade, not even trying.
Jade had to admit, it made things much, much easier on his end.
It went on for several more minutes, until Floyd was practically screaming with laughter. The last thing they needed was someone barging in, thinking Jade was getting murdered or something. Though, that fate may not be much different from Floyd’s current predicament.
Jade stopped his tickling hands, allowing Floyd a chance to catch his breath. Floyd had a bright smile on his face, a complete switch-up from the depressing and frustrated aura radiating from him when he entered the room, and Jade said as so.
“You seem much more calm.”
“‘Course I am cuz now, I’m gonna get you back!”
“A-already?” Jade’s eyes widened, though he supposed he should have expected that. He backed away, moving from the bed and closer to the door, while trying not to look panicked. Because he definitely wasn’t. At all.
It was just that he never got tickled much! It was always Floyd and Azul, not him! So forgive him for avoiding it! It didn’t take long for Floyd to catch up, though. Jade reasoned that he was going easy on him, but Floyd didn’t listen as he began to tickle the other with a devious grin on his face.
“Hahahaha!” Jade broke after trying to conceal his giggles and Floyd’s smile widened. It was like a dam had been destroyed because Jade couldn’t get himself to stop laughing.
Amidst the laughter, he swore he heard Floyd thank him, but he couldn’t tell if it was his imagination. Floyd started to tickle his hips, squeezing and kneading.
“Nahahahah, F-flohohoyd!” He had more pressing matters to think about anyway.
