I had this stupid idea a year ago but I wasn't really drawing much at the time. Then I re-watched Tick Tick Boom last week, I remembered this and had to draw it. I'm sure it's been done before, and better, but I had to exorcise it from my brain.

I finished Tick Tick Boom libretto and then reread the monologue before the song Why. I remember when I saw Yousuke Ichiwa, a talented actor I’d seen for the first time, performing this part alone on the small stage with the minimum set and props. I remember I clearly saw the sight of Jon running through the city after he was told the fact about his best friend.

It was surely one of the best moment I’ve ever experienced in live theatre.
