I have a miraculous story I wish to share with you today… and it’s about, Synchronicities … There are many interpretations but here’s what happened to me… I had planned to post my Garden Pavillon illustration about a month prior, however I hadn’t finished it, so I worked on finalising it and placed the people, trees, flowers and as it evolved it developed into a more layered illustration, with more depth, where the front lady in green wearing a hat is now. I posted it on the Saturday and because this was the first weekend out of our lockdown, the following day, I thought Yes, I can venture out into the world again so wanting to avoid the shops and having being recommended to visit Werribee Mansion I felt like discovering something new and at the same time soak up nature again, I decided to just go at the spur of the moment. I just knew this was the right thing to do. I didn’t even think about the weather until I wanted to leave. There was a 60% chance of rain, but it didn’t stop me. The minute I left my home, heavy rain came down…I just knew and had faith it would be fine when I arrived, so I continued on… down the freeway rain was so heavy I could hardly see…but the minute I arrived, the torrential rain just stopped to just a sprinkle. I stepped out with an umbrella just in case… next to the Mansion was Victoria’s Rose Garden so naturally I had to go there first. Little did I know until I came home and looked at my photo I realised that what was in my illustration resembled my experience at the Rose Garden. In the photo of the pavilion, it’s a little hard to see because I wasn’t expecting to post this photo, but there were 3 people in the Pavilion, 2 woman and a man. I was in the same Pavilion before they were. On my way out I stopped someone on a bicycle and I was the one carrying the umbrella.
