Thinking about Will not using the tiger driver...not to make everything about MJF, but I think it is interesting Max didn't really fight using a lot of his most effective tactics either, when he fought Hangman earlier this year. He didn't use what we all know is his most powerful finishing move: hitting someone with the Dynamite Diamond Ring. His match with Hangman was pretty clean for him - and Will didn't go to the full, legal extremes he could have either. Maybe they were both underestimating Hangman, with the run he's been on - but it's an interesting parallel either way.
Well, no Kenny. Or MCMG (🤡) But...they are mentioning Kenny a lot lately, I think, and if he was to return, then doing so at a match where he could confront Ospreay and the Bucks at the same time would probably be an appropriate level of drama. So I'm keeping half the clown make-up on 🔭
In general:
As someone who has favourite characters but also likes to see those faves hunted and bullied, that was a great Will Ospreay match for me
It was different from a singles Casino Gauntlet match, and I wasn't sure about it at first, but it sure built up to something great. It was less about the random match-ups, and more about what kind of interactions you get when so many tag teams are in the ring at the same time
And with Ospreay and Kyle winning, there'll probably be some interesting dynamics at play in the next few weeks. Trying to pressure him to do the Tiger Driver even on someone who doesn't 'deserve' it, to really fulfill his promise to Don and friendship with Kyle? Mark returning to remind Kyle what his ACTUAL tag team is? 👀👀

The callback to Bryan being FIRED for UNACCEPTABLE VIOLENCE by strangling Justin with his tie (in-kayfabe) was also fun, thank you Nigel! <3
