Don't mind the handwriting or the latin vocabulary... Also a teacher told me to stop drawing and I drew this thing out of spite :D

Atrociraptors headcanons but also including raptormoms bc it's me writing (they're happy and alive on a raptor farm here)

- they don't have a pack dynamic like Owen's pack (his is akin to wolves raised in captivity) but more like a real pack: a family led by the parents (the Handler and Soyona, though they will not take any instructions from her anymore if they disagree with them)

- They all excel at different areas. You wouldn't notice if you didn't spend lots of time with them, but:

- Panthera has the best fine motor skills. She's the best at opening doors, unlocking puzzle toys and carrying fragile things without breaking them.She's also the most agile in general and slinks through obstacles easily.

- Ghost is the best suited for leadership, as she's very smart. She often takes charge when decisions need to be made or they're in need of a hunting strategy. She's also the fastest and very persistent, which often means she's the last one chasing a target when the rest have given up.

- Tiger is the strongest, she can both bite the hardest and claw the deepest. She's often the one going in for the kill when they hunt together, so the prey has less chance at getting away. Despite being the 3rd to hatch, she grew bigger than her siblings quickly (it's not as noticable anymore)

- Red has the best vocal range...which seems like a unnecessary talent, until she pulls something like imitating snaps to control the leucistic baryonyx. She's been learning to imitate animal noises to lure prey, which freaks about everyone out (they're still trying to figure out what animal DNA in her is causing this, since it's not possible for normal raptors). She's also the most competitive, and very persistent like Ghost, but her siblings keep her in line.

- hatching order is Ghost, then Panthera and Tiger almost at the same time, and then Red. They all hatched within 2 days of each other anyways

-Tiger was the most docile as a hatchling, she could've easily overpowered her siblings during play fights but refused to involve herself

- they hunt deer with the Handler in the woods about once a week, then store the rest in the freezer until it's gone

- VERY well fed. Great mix of raw meat, cat, dog and reptile food, mealworms, fresh fruits and veggies, eggs... Handler makes sure they're healthy as can be.

- they greatly enjoy swimming, so during summer they drive to the nearest lake at night when the people are gone

- they purr. Especially when Handler or Soyona are sad they'll curl up around them and purr reassuringly, they're very caring

- Soyona keeps bribing them to sit for her as painting models, with or without the Handler. They don't much like sitting still but a can of herring will do the trick

- If the raptors are trying to open a puzzle (they get puzzle dog toys) that requires mechanical skills, they try different strategies and then have Panthera do them again to see if she can get them open

- Handler naps in various formations of raptor pile. Leaning on the raptor? Under the raptor? Laying across all 4 raptors? May look uncomfortable to most.

- the raptors know Soyona and Handler are dating again and disapprove of their relationships for at least a year. 3 of them were Soyona haters for that time, they don't do "forgive and forget " that easily (they were mad at Red for only a week tho)

- occasionally knock people over by jumping at them in greeting. They feel bad about that.

- they lick people. Red does it the most, and mostly to Soyona...who absolutely despises it.

- if we were to not ignore rebirth making no sense (dinosaurs had very effective lungs and oxygen level drops would only affect very big dinosaurs, thank you very much) then Handler would get those pet inhalers for them. They're NOT dying on her watch.

- and finally, mentioning my AU again: service animal Ghost. I still really like the idea of pulling up to a grocery store with Big Scary Raptor like "she's my service animal you can't kick us out :3" and the rest of this is on my profile

Handler as one of these cat/dog moms that spend lots of money on great pet food and put it on a licking mat for enrichment

Calculating these food amounts up to raptor scale while also staying within reason in weight and money took me an unreasonable amount of time...plus calculating how much they'd eat a day based on tigers instead of foxes, which is what I did previously. (About 20kg per raptor per day)

Raptormoms and raptors autumn ideas because that is the season now ig...and we all never have ideas...

-playing in piles of leaves with the raptors

-Halloween costumes. For them and maybe the raptors

-cuddling...soyona gets COLD in this weather

-Soyona deciding whether to let handler back in (she's full of mud from outside)

-truffle digging raptors. They're going for the mushrooms this season!!

-Pumpkin carving but they carve the raptors out of the pumpkins
