What pet arthropods (and not) do you have? I've got black widows in my room and above the sink (that stay in their spots, I stay in mine), a false widow in the bathroom (who isn't doing her job well), a chihuahua (technically my fiance's), and 4 cats (only one is actually mine but they all flock to me because I'm allergic). I used to have goldfish but I moved :(
Aw, they all sound precious!!! Give the chihuahua and kitties pets for me, and the spiders an extra treat.
At the moment, I have a zebra tarantula named Zeebie, a black forest scorpion named Tailypo, lots and lots of red runner and Dubia roaches, some mealworms and superworms in retirement--and of course, my mantises!
Currently I have three adult males Sphodromantises--So, Fo, and Do. I love them, but they're high enough maintenance they'll probably be the last mantises I have for a while. It'll be a relief to the roaches, I'm sure!

its not advisable to let your dogs and birds play together for the same reason its unsafe for cats and birds to play together, but also, dogs can be very full on with their play behaviours, they jump and run around and stuff. Not so safe for birds either, who have very fragile hollow bones (this is what allows them to be light enough to fly).
Though in this particular case I am more concerned about the dog than the bird, since its so young, the cockatoo could injure it if it felt like the dog was getting more attention than it for example. I'm not so sure why this woman is letting her cockatoo grab at the dog like that, but at least she is there supervising.
Could I get "No, we're not open, they just left me here to answer the phone"?
