Uncle Wade... its sort of funny. i havent fleshed out the kid yet, since its more of a funny daydream au, but i always just revert to calling the kid Marilyn and she's always this spunky little girl... first time she meets Wade she's interrogating him.

"what're you doin' with my pa? you his new boyfriend?"

"am i-- what? no. i mean, yes. nothin' more than that."

"nothin' more? so you dont wanna marry him? what're you here for? I'm gonna tell him you said that."

i swear she's not as lippy as that usually. she's just a little kid not used to sharing her dad. she's used to it with her other father, but thats just him, she figures. and her love language is bugging the hell out of people so it'll go to wade, too, because very quickly she would be incredibly comfortable with him and wade wouldnt know what the hell to do. what do you mean this little thing likes me? why is she following me around now asking a million questions? why is she asking for me to come over when Dusty calls me and shes in the background? i dont see Wade as the 'true' family guy anyways, as he has much to work through, but its very sweet to think of him not being turned off by the fact dusty as a kid. tries his best to be decent to her and then now shes clinging to his leg lol. he'd def tease that she's gonna be an interrogator or detective one day. too many damn questions she fires off that even make his brain shortcircuit.

This is ridiculous and sappy, but- in episode 5, when Wade goes to that cloning facility, imagine he brings that puppy back to Dusty instead. Dusty doesn’t strike me as a crusty white dog haver, but Wade knows he likes animals, and it’s better than it going into the incinerator :( Little yappy dog running around a farm…

Sorry i feel like i may be getting silly with responding with doodles but like. Come on. The dog being just a weirdo would be so fucking funny tbh. Dusty always asking “where’d you even get her?” And Wade always says he found her on the side of the road… would def keep the whole cloning thing under wrap cause i fear if he told Dusty the poor guy would be a bit sick.

Probably calls the thing affectionately Miss Piggie from it being a yappy little thing and it just sticks.

This is so, so silly, but im in a silly mood. Alot of schroder and lucy panels like these remind me of tillvotsky, specifically young tillvotsky…. Esp the last one. Dusty bugging young religious wade and him getting a bit pissy cause why is this guy following me around? He doesnt want the teachings of the lord, hes a delinquient, and my ma and pa are gonna kill me for being seen with him! So he says something like that, he doesnt mean it, and dustys teasing ass responds like that. Then i feel like theyd get closer then. Wade cant escape dusty, and he doesnt wanna…. He likes being dragged along to do silly things with dusty. And alot of these come off as wade being awkward and not picking up on signs like the fifth. Hes just confused!
