Colin Morgan as Sexton? Or someone else?

To be taken with a grain of salt, but...

Tim Davies is the stunt double who was seen filming as Sexton Furnival, from Death: The High Cost of Living. He was seen filming the scene where Mad Hettie trips Sexton and causes him to fall on his face:

So Tim Davies was known to be the stunt double for this role, but Sexton's actor wasn't known. Until today when SandmanNews noticed that Tim Davies is now listed as the stunt double for Colin Morgan...

Options:

1. Colin Morgan is Sexton, Tim Davies is his stunt double. Sexton is aged up from a teenager to an adult (which would make sense, since "Didi" will also be an adult and not a teenager?).

2. Tim Davies is a stunt double for Sexton, AND for a different mystery character played by Colin Morgan.

3. IMDB is wrong and Colin Morgan has nothing to do with Sandman.

I would guess option 1 is the most likely, but who knows?

Episode 10 or Episode 12?

And here's where things get weird(er). On IMDB, Tim Davies is listed as the stunt double for Colin Morgan for Episode 2x10.

However, according to UnBoxPHD, the photographer who got the filming footage- the episode is 2x12.

I know there are a LOT of unknowns about how exactly The High Cost of Living possibly fits into S2 (the... very very VERY full S2). I honestly don't know if 2x10 or 2x12 would make more or less sense for it?

It also remains unclear exactly how much of THCoL we're getting- this one scene is a pretty much exact adaptation from the comics- but I doubt the rest of the story will be (especially since Hazel and Foxglove don't seem to exist in the tv show- unless they do and we just don't know about it- which is possible- in the way that so many things are possible about S2???).

But at any rate- Colin Morgan either is or isn't Sexton Furnival, and he either is or isn't in The Sandman S2, and he either is or isn't in episode 2x10, or episode 2x12, or both, or neither.

And it's also possible that Tim Davies was spotted doing stunt work as Sexton for 2x12- but is also in episode 2x10 as a stunt double for another character, that isn't Sexton, but is played by Colin Morgan.

I certainly hope so! In the meantime, the incredibly talented composer for Trollhunters, Tim Davies, has released a few tracks from the show’s score on his SoundCloud page. I’ve posted one of my favorites above. Go check it out! Perhaps he’ll release more Trollhunters tracks in the future!

“Thames Dig”, Mark Dion’s site-responsive project where volunteers helped him dig up and curate all manner of artefacts by the Thames River that snakes through south London. This work appeals to me a great deal, not least as a former inhabitant of London, a city which I still have enormous affection for. The directness and simplicity of this kind of site-response is powerful, and also deceptively obvious. As far as “going against the grain of dominant culture”, well, I’m not really one for intellectualising art; it’s a defiant and deep stance, but the whole reason I like this work is its lack of pretension. “Art as process”, well, yes, of course. What else is art except process? Creating art one is a process: Surrender to one’s function. The idea we do anything is erroneous, in any case; we are done.
