The Marvel Family after successfully defeating the Monster Society of Evil:

Captain Marvel (Billy): Well, I'd say that was a thrilling day of...surviving! Hey, anyone up to see a movie?

Freddy: Can we invite Tim (SABBAC) if he makes bail?

Mary: Freddy, he tried to kill you!

Freddy: No brother is perfect.

Captain Marvel (Billy): He killed two people.

Freddy: I'll sit between you!

I've been thinking about the Freeman Brothers a lot lately; Kit Freeman (Kid Eternity), Freddy Freeman (Captain Marvel Jr--he needs a new name), and Tim Karnes (SABBAC). Their lives and how they became separated are pretty tragic when you think about it.

Anyway.

I drew them (my redesigns!)

I plan to write about them eventually when this semester is done kicking my behind. (Tim Karnes, especially, is getting a full revamp and lore makeover).

Y'all is it just me, or does anyone else think of Freddy Freeman and just get sad

Boy lost his parents, his brother, his foster brother, both of his grandfathers, I just...aah 😭 he lost everything, almost died, maybe he kinda did, got magic revived by his favorite superhero and then used his powers to beat the man who killed him, but had to hold himself back knowing it wasn't right. This kid was going through it. And what's worse is that his foster brother is evil now, and his other brother is a ghost 👻

I'm worried about Freddy, but at the same time, I want to see him suffer just a bit more

@DC Someone should write a (good) graphic Novel about the brothers Timothy Tim Karnes, Christopher Kit Freeman and Frederick Freddy Freeman and call it Free Men, it should be about how one happy family can be split so far apart, taking responsibility our own actions and the interplay that has with the hands of fate, never giving up on someone you love even when you have to put up barrier around how you interact with them. about the Three Little boys they once were and the three young men that they eventually become
