On Friday I dropped Rene off at Timberline Knolls residential treatment center. As many of you know, Rene has been battling their mental health for a long time. It's been a long and difficult journey to get them the help that they need. We've actually been trying to get them into TK for 2 years. I'm so happy that they're going to be getting the life saving treatment they need, even if that means being away from me for a while. • Thank you to all of the people who have loved and supported both Rene and myself these last few years. We wouldn't have gotten here without you. And if you could spare a bit more love and positive vibes, send them to Rene in Illinois as they start this healing journey. • And to Rene, remember I love you. You've been training for this your whole life. Soak up all of Demi and Kesha's energy. You can do this. I'm so proud of you. The babies and I will be here waiting for you when you come home. This weekend reminds me why I do what I do. Recovery is a part of you, but it doesn't DEFINE you. Our annual TK Alumnae retreat reminds me how far I've come in the past 4 years & reaffirms that I'm heading in the right direction with my passions & life.
