"Okay, now it's your turn! Have any suggestions....?"
"痛い!" (That hurts!) He hisses when she starts touching his hair, even though she's doing her best to be gentle.
But he stays still, legs crossed, to avoid making her mess it up. He huffs when she asks him for a hair-tie, and takes one out of his pocket. The way he hands it to her suggests he's annoyed, though, and that she should work faster. Sorry, Sophia.

What is this?? Collar? Collar! Oh--! " DA-AA-AARLING I-I-I- " His mouth completely disappears the second her heel is on his box. But its the yank on his neck that makes him get on his hands with a pleading whine, feeling himself burn up again. Only to collapse at her feet, chin on the ground and coat tails high, hands over his 'eyes' as his internal fan whirs on.
Oh it... never bodes well for him when people find this out about him. He is... going to be die soon. ( happily. )

"Gee, thanks a bunch for staying late and helping with the cleanup! You know you don't have to, but I always appreciate the extra hands." As Sun placed the last basket of art supplies away in it's respective cubby for the night, he turned on his heel in order to swiftly bend down and give Sophia the warmest hug he could manage.
"Thank you for everything you do around here! I mean it! I still can't believe it's been over a year and you're still here with us. I don't know what we'd do without ya."
After relishing the contact for a few moments longer, finally he lets her go and crouches down in order to give a shy grin.
"Yooou should probably get going though... It's nearly seven. I don't want you going home alone in the dark... If you want to tell Moony bye, I think he's in his corner trying to get Tadpole to sleep..."

It must have been hours… The clever minds that developed the space mech did not anticipate the churning, fiery chaos that resulted from the daring maneuvers that Pokie and her crew regularly drug the poor mech through. The thermonuclear thrusters were fine, but the chemical thrusters, the kind needed to breach the atmosphere and reach escape velocity, ached for maintenance.
A harsh lamp carves out a small space in the otherwise large, oppressive darkness of the engine bay. Pokie holds an instrument and sweeps its laser over the surface of the gimbal, the large pivoting joint that allows steering, at the top of the engine. If she can just get some initial checks, then she can go to bed and it will be easier scheduling more indepth repairs for potential cracks or misalignment in the morning. If she can just push through…
Cursed by evil forces of…well, frankly, low blood sugar, she blinks, bleary eyed, and the little tool vanishes from her hands. Somehow, it’s perfectly sized enough to slide between the safety rails and the grates she’s crouching on in the engine bay. It thumps past bellows and flex hoses, glittering in the light before making a plasticy cacophonous thud below.
Maybe now would be a good time to phone a friend?
“Heyyy,” Momo answers, coughing shortly after. “What’s going on,” she continues in her typical soft, cheery disposition, though her voice is stuffy.
“Hey, uhhh just letting you know thaaaat…I’m still locked and tagged out in the chemical propulsion engine bay. Like… I mean, we don’t have to go anywhere tonight right?”
“No? Did something happen?”
“Umm… so I… dropped, uh, the alignment tool. I… I- I can see it from here. I think I can handle it.”
The static in the line hangs in the air for a moment.
“Well, okay, that’s… still kinda bad. Look, I really think you should go to bed. You sound kinda tired. You don’t want to make any more careless mistakes down there,” Momo croaks.
“Yep! Yea, that would be good. Uhh I will be going to bed soonish. I think. Do you need, uh, food? Like a soup or something?”
“If you can find it, yeah. Thanks bff… Just don’t stay down there too long.”
“Mkay bye, bestie,” Pokie replies before ending the call.
Pokie emerges from the belly of the behemoth mech greeted by the forgiving kiss of the cool night air. She breathes a sigh of pained exasperation. Now everyone will be up worrying about the ship tonight. Who knows what time it was. The sidewalk glitters in the night. If only she could just find…
A cafe! And with that little beacon of hope called an open sign! Maybe she can get something warm for her friend to have and maybe something for herself… if she had any money. Oh well, might as well sit somewhere and have a moment to herself. The doors jingle with a squeak of their hinge and she quickly finds an empty seat. Space aliens don’t really appear on Earth everyday, let alone a small cafe.

Honestly he expected a rejection -- not many took to his silliness. Regardless he's elated by the response, willingly abiding by her request. He crouches down with his knees, and scoops his arm behind her as he lifts. Carefully he tucks her on his arm to keep her supported once he was upright again. He starts walking.
"So... what kinda icecream you like, miss cherry blossom?" He pokes at her pink nose carefully.

"Oh yeah, tell me about it." Groaned the short-statured woman, wiping her forehead with the sleeve of her top. Of course, Black Star could have shape-shifted herself a more 'warm weather friendly' outfit, she preferred her hoodie top. "Most of the people I'm from don't even wanna go to the beach 'cause of this heat, and we're known for our beach!"
Following Black Star's grimace, she would blink her oval-shaped eyes upon hearing the question. "Oh yes, I am!" Now it was like the heat wasn't on the Gem's mind at all, as her smile stretched ear to ear. "Specifically, I'm a Black Star Diopside! I take it you've met another Gem before?" Her pupils grew in curiosity, wondering which Gem Sophia got to meet.

"Scared?" The Gem repeated the word, like she couldn't possibly comprehend how Sophia could have been scared. "...Scared of me? But I'm not scary..."
