  Pun after pun, constantly trying with joke and wit, but most of the time, she would give him a look in response.

 Not that Chat Noir minded; his Lady looked adorable when she was exasperated… or annoyed…

 … or angry.

 … or anticipating the shoe to drop.

 … or blushing.

 … or covering her face while she groaned.

 Okay so, he just loved everything about her no matter the reaction he got out of her. However, none of these really beat his main goal…

 Of seeing her beautiful crystalline eyes glitter…

 And watching her cheeks lightly pink as the corner of her lips drew up…

 And then… and then…

 There! He did it!

 The tips of his ears burned and beneath his mask, he felt his blood rise to his cheeks. Her laugh rang clear in his ears and made his heart hammer against his chest and he savored it, making sure to put the wonderful sound to memory.

 That meant everything…

 She meant everything to him.

Timing is everything..

I heard a story once. It started out like this. A beautiful young girl, the age of 20, who embodied many hopes and dreams met someone that she likes. He was handsome and well off in life yet he recently broke up with his girlfriend in a long term relationship about 4 weeks ago. As confident as she was, she was persistent and tried to talk to him. Sooner or later they became close and liked one another, though not equally (she liked him more than her), they liked one another. About 2 weeks into the "talking" phase he soon began to slip, his feelings were dwindling and they fell out of touch. About 1 week later she goes and checks up on him to see how he was doing. She noticed that he was talking to a young girl, the same age, not as beautiful, not as ambitious as she was but he was happy. She sat there wondering... "What the hell, she isn't as pretty as me, she isn't as goal oriented. Why did he choose her." In life, we encounter several people. Some break our hearts, some get us to our emotional low, and some make us fall in love again. It's never about beauty, ambitions, etc. that leads us to that "one" person. In the end. It's all about timing. Always has, always will be.
