The tanuki’s eyes widen in amazement at the replica; for a moment ( SIZE ASIDE ), he’d almost mistaken it for the real thing! Though should he have expected anything less, really? He’d heard of this individual’s impressive feats, work, but to see the fruits of such talent in person... So inspiring!

Some Tommy-centric headcanons while I'm on the bus:

Constantly feels stuck in his brother's shadow. Despite being stellar at customer service, ever being helpful, he believes that Timmy is the true businessman. Timmy, of course, shines inadvertantly - he's just so used to taking charge when his brother needs help that it's second nature now.

This is why Tommy doesn't talk as much when his brother is around.

Nook is aware of this, and has tried time and time again to help boost Tommy's confidence & praise his accomplishments more (because he believes that Tommy is skilled in his sector like Timmy is his own), but Tommy still feels inferior.

Tommy hasn't talked to Timmy about any of this, thinking the issue benign, and that lack of communication just makes everything worse.

Tommy is always as helpful as he can be, but all this insecurity / low self esteem means that he'll go above and beyond for people, even if they don't deserve it.

Tommy is actually a great fisherman! He's caught his fair share of Oarfish and even Sharks, and if there's anyone that knows more about fish out of the twins, it's him.

Where Timmy knows a bunch about technology, hardware details and parts included, Tommy just knows the basics. He's not a huge technology nerd.

Blue eyes glanced towards the other’s approach; Tommy’s observation prompted his brother to turn around and address the stranger, which he did with vibrant energy.

❝ Oh! Hi. ❞ Can of Pep in hand, the tanuki child turned to look at the man. Timmy blinked, tilted his head at Gyro as his tail flicked up with curiosity. He was new to this place — their boss had only recently reconnected with an old friend of his ( who just so happened to be a multi-billionaire ). Apparently he wasn’t the only one who worked from the ground up... so inspiring! But Timmy was getting ahead of himself...  ❝ Were you looking for Mr. McDuck? I’m afraid he’s having an important meeting with Mr. Nook right now! So very sorry! ❞

just saying but people who DON'T get Timmy & Tommy's names mixed up -- the nooklings love them forever ok. their individuality is so important to them and most people just mesh their names together & slap whatever fits. it hurts their feelings, esp tommy's. so it does genuinely mean the world to them when you can tell them apart.
