Yeeeep. I can understand about Corrin because they can be a bit too naive for many, but I wasn’t bother too much about them because they were brave enough to not choose a side. They also forget that he worked hard to become the man he is now, he wasn’t a natural born talent like Ryoma—he worked his ass off to be strong and tried very idiotic methods to get strong fast; example is training with lack of sleep or just taking care of himself and he literally walked into the Forlorn Forest and was too prideful to admit it was a stupid idea and came home almost dead, so he took his time to train physically and emotionally to be the loyal crown prince we see now. That man literally saw his own step siblings kill each other in the line of being prince or princess of Nohr by their mothers that his father slept with and the ones that survived the concubines war died from suicide, in battle or prisoner of war and never came back, so it made sense he wanted to emotionally distance himself on the outside of his siblings because he didn’t want to be too attached, of course that didn’t mean he never cared for them because he does everything in his power to protect his family and his kingdom. Exactly, that’s why he couldn’t live on when Elise died because how could he face Camilla and Leo to say he accidentally killed their youngest? He couldn’t. It’s quite frustrating when the fandom just see Fates characters flat, stupid or boring when in reality they are complex characters like everyone else in the series.
