Anyway yall ever hear about the process of diaphonization? Its where you turn a (usually small) specimen's flesh and tissues clear, and then dye the bones (usually a blue-to-violet color). People use this process to better understand anatomy and whatnot. Side note, i found a tiny diaphonized dragon on esty. It will be here monday : D

Anyway... I got super inspired, and have thusly created a whole au around the concept. This drawing occurs later in the story, which i will hopefully have the bullet points done for soon : D

Spoilers For Part 1 of *Ex*terminator AU

*Ex*terminator AU is basically an AU where Dream is an exterminator who had been fired from his job for a very stupid reason[Saving caged Miniatures(Small Hybrids{Not George & Sapnap}) who were being treated like pets by sneaking them out of the house].

The story kicks off with explaining the scene of him helping the miniatures & getting fired for 'not following protocol' by not calling the cops to deal with it. Dream was {rightfully} a bit peeved, as the cops don't do a good job of actually preventing that stuff from happening in the first place.

But as soon as the explaining of the scene is done, it does a hard snap cut to Dream in a McDonald's drive-thru where it's revealed that Dream was relaying the events to a very tired but patient Technoblade who was working the window [For some reason I find it absolutely hilarious to Invision Technoblade working at a McDonald's drive-thru 😹].

Techno, as polite as he can, says "Dream- as much as I'd like to be able to stand here & talk about all the ways the government sucks... I have 30 minutes left on my shift and-" *Points at the line of cars behind Dream's truck[For some reason I imagine that he drives a truck, simply because it's easier to transfer his work stuff.]* "-I have 8 more cars to deal with..." To which Dream then realizes how long he was there for & apologizes before driving off, there's a snippet of a Karen throwing her drink at Techno through the window due to the long wait in the rearview mirror of Dream's truck, with him mumbling "Sorry Techno-".

So then Dream heads over to Antfrost's apartment where there's a long scene of Antfrost, Dream & Velvet{Who's a Mini bat hybrid} chatting until Dream eventually leaves to go home. While Dream is at home, he sees that some of the stuff in his pantry has been riffled through. He thinks that he has rats in the house, so he sets up a simple plastic box trap with a towel over top of it on the kitchen counter & places a small {poisoned} cracker inside before he heads back out the next day.

When he gets home a bit earlier than usual due to not working, he checks the trap & is shocked to see two Small Hybrids, a Bat Borrower & Mouse, inside. The Mouse hybrid appears very ill while the Bat hybrid is standing in a defensive position in front of them. It doesn't take much for Dream to connect the dots that the Mouse hybrid had eaten some of the poisoned cracker.

Not knowing how long ago the poisoned cracker was consumed, Dream tried to move quickly, but also slowly enough to attempt not to spook them. This failed however, as the Bat borrower quickly shuffled to position themself in front of the Mouse hybrid more, protectively curling their long, thin tail around them. Dream tries his best to calm the Borrower down, though the shaking angry squeaks he gets in return do little to pursuade success, leading Dream to believe that there may be a language barrier.

He eventually manages to carefully cup his hands loosely around the pair, but this causes the Bat borrower to attempt to scramble out of the trap while carrying the Mouse hybrid, stumbling to the countertop outside of it. The Mouse hybrid lets out a weak squeak while looking at the Bat hybrid & the Borrower hesitates before swiftly scurrying to a hole in the wall, leaving the Mouse hybrid shaking in front of Dream. Dream flinches before slowly scooping up the tiny, trembling body into his hands, alarm ringing through his head as he feels the slower than normal heartbeat.

He rushes to the bathroom attached to his room before riffling through the mirror cabinets looking for medicine, he eventually finds the small container. Picking up a miniature syringe out of a drawer, he fills the tiny syringe with the medicinal fluid, the Mouse hybrid in his other hand weakly squirming to get away. Dream attempts to soothe the small hybrid, eventually figuring out that the Mouse can understand him & somewhat read, allowing them to see the label on the medicine vial. The Mouse hybrid calms down enough to let Dream give them the syringe to drink the medicine out of, Dream gaining relief when he feels their heartbeat begin to steadily regulate.

Afterwards Dream brings the Mouse hybrid back to the kitchen counter where he gives them two nonpoisonous crackers, showing them that they're not poisoned by eating one out of the pack. The Mouse hybrid then makes their way towards the wall, stumbling a bit, they turn to Dream tiredly waving as they vanish into the shadowed crevice.

It has been a while! I had this chapter nearly finished and decided to sit down and write the last little bit of it. George really keeps being lucky and then unlucky in this fic lol

You Were Supposed to Be Frozen (part 4)

George doesn’t want to move when he wakes up. Even when he realizes why he’s pinned in place and his body goes stiff with terror, a part of him is still tempted to just close his eyes and just go back to sleep.

He’s even warmer than he was the last time he woke up next to the human, and it takes him a long moment to understand why. It’s not until he feels movement behind him that lines up with each of the human’s breaths that he finally understands exactly where he is.

He squirms a bit, twisting around in the human’s grasp until he can finally look over his shoulder and see the dull yellow fabric of the human’s shirt. The fingers curled around him refuse to loosen, remaining stubbornly in place despite his attempts to carefully wriggle free.

This is much worse than last time. Last time, he was just pinned to the human’s blankets with a hand, but right now he’s got the human’s fingers curled around him and he’s being held against their chest as they lie on their side.

He can distantly feel each one of the human’s heartbeats where his arm is pressed against their chest. If they were awake, he’s certain they'd also be able to feel his frantic heartbeats since their thumb is resting on his ribcage.

George lets out a shaky breath in an attempt to calm himself, squeezing his eyes shut as he tries to figure out a solution. He doubts he’ll be able to free himself without waking the human up, and that’s assuming he’d even be able to get free. Humans are terrifyingly strong, after all, and that still seems to apply even when they’re asleep.

I’m honestly lucky I didn’t end up injured. If they had rolled over in their sleep instead of holding me close to their chest like this, that would not have ended well.

He hesitantly moves his arms, trying to push the human’s thumb off of his chest. They shift their weight, their fingers twitching for a second, and George goes completely still.

Please don’t wake up, he silently begs, his heart beating so quickly that it’s difficult to listen to each one of the human’s movements. Please, please, please-

The human’s thumb—which had pressed a bit more firmly against his chest for a second—relaxes along with the rest of their fingers. George hardly dares to breathe, waiting until he’s certain they’re asleep before taking advantage of their loosened grip and wriggling the rest of the way free.

He tumbles to the blankets with a quiet oof, immediately scrambling away to put some distance between himself and the human’s hands. He nearly trips over his own tail in his hurry to get away.

I was caught. If they had woken up. . .

There’s no point in thinking about it. Right now, he just needs to focus on getting as far away as possible.

George sprints across the room, his claws skidding across the cold stone ground as he practically throws himself into his hiding spot. It's a struggle to calm his heartbeat; he clamps a hand over his mouth in an attempt to quiet his frantic breathing as he tries to listen for any movement from the human.

No rustling blankets, no startled exclamation. George hesitantly dares to sit down once he feels enough time has passed, his shaking legs unable to support his bodyweight anymore.

They didn't wake up. It's okay. It's okay.

The sun slowly rises, spilling into the cave. It doesn't take too long for the human to wake up after that, sitting up with a grunt and stretching their arms over their head before they cover their face with their weird mask and leave the cave.

Jealousy burns in George's gut. The snow is almost deep enough to cover his head but it probably barely reaches the human's ankle. He wishes he had the option to leave the cave. . .although it's not like he'd have anywhere safe to go with the weather being this cold.

How am I supposed to survive the winter once the human leaves? I'm relying on them for food and warmth. Once they're gone, I won't have to worry about being caught, but that doesn't mean I'll be any safer.

He curls his tail around himself, trying to ignore his aching stomach. He'll just have to hope the human brings back something to eat.

When the human returns they're carrying a singular squirrel, which doesn't look like it'll be enough food for them. George isn't sure exactly how much food humans need to eat every day, but the animal manages to look small in the human's grasp as they methodically strip the meat from its bones and skewer it on sticks to roast over the flames.

. . .I don't think there are going to be any leftovers. How am I supposed to get something to eat?

He takes his chance the moment the human leaves the cave to clean their hands, taking advantage of this opportunity even though it's risky. If he doesn't eat something now, he's not sure how long it'll take for him to find something else to eat. For all he knows, the human might go tomorrow, leaving him in a freezing cave with an empty stomach. He has to try to get a bite.

George hurries over to the fire, the cold stone floor making his bare feet ache as he clambers onto the rocks piled around the flames. The raw meat sizzles as it starts to cook, the sticks keeping it out of George's reach. A drop of grease runs down the wood and splashes against the stone next to George's foot like a taunt.

His tail tucks itself close to his body as he tries to figure out how to get some. Leaning forward to grab some would just lead to his hands getting burned or--in the worst-case scenario--his whole body tumbling into the fire. He could try to knock over one of the sticks but the meat might fall into the fire which would be such a waste.

It smells so good. His guts feel like they're tying into knots as he breathes in, enjoying the warm scent of delicious food. It does nothing to calm his hunger and his hand comes up to wipe at the drool he can feel threatening to spill between his lips.

I need this.

George grabs onto one of the sticks, yanking as hard as he can. It wobbles but doesn't budge, too firmly wedged between the rocks, and he can feel frustrated tears fill his eyes.

"Just move!" He grunts, pulling on it again. It shifts and he's not wise enough to let go of it before it sends him and the meat toppling to the ground.

Hot!

He scrambles out from underneath the chunk of meat, gasping at the sudden heat. Grease soaks into his shirt, uncomfortably warm for a moment before it begins to cool, and his arm hurts but doesn't seem to actually be burned.

There's no time to celebrate his victory. Movement catches his attention and he looks up just in time to make eye contact with the human's creepy mask as they step into the cave.

George's instincts scream for him to freeze but he forces himself to run, flinging his body towards the rocks piled around the fire and wriggling through the smallest gaps he can find until he's gotten as close to the flames as he dares. His heart pounds loudly in his ears, threatening to drown out the sounds the human is making. . .

. . .except they're completely silent. Huh?

He doesn't dare to look. A few moments later, he can hear the human's footsteps approach, but giant hands don't grab the rocks he's hiding behind. It sounds like the human is just retrieving their food?

No. No, there's no way they didn't see me, I could FEEL them looking at me.

Somehow, that doesn't seem to be the case. Somehow he avoided being spotted by the human even though he's sure his luck is running out by this point.

The human leaves, their heavy footsteps fading once they leave the cave. George peeks out from his hiding spot, his tail fluffing up when he sees that the meat is still on the ground.

They must have noticed it. Why didn't they move it?

It has to be a trap. It has to be. If George was smart, he'd leave it behind, but his aching stomach protests the idea.

Avoiding the human is pointless if I starve to death, is what George tells himself as he picks up the chunk of meat, hugging it close to his chest and reveling in the warmth as he scurries to the other side of the cave. I don't have a choice.

He wishes the human would leave, but he knows he can't survive in this cave without them. He'll just have to hope the human assumed he was a mouse and doesn't think hunting him down will be worth the effort.

I can't imagine there will be more than three more chapters left in this fic, so we're probably getting close to the end of this story! Don't worry, Dream and George will have their first real interaction soon :)

My first Tumblr Post [This was a response I gave to a reddit question, I figured I'd share it here too, since, I might finally be getting a tiny bit of motivation to make storylines and Lore.]

I'm kinda terrified to post this, but, I'mma just bite the bullet and go for it I guess 😅

Context: This was back when RatsSMP was new and my brain was going nuts over it........ My brain decided to combine Rats SMP with DSMP, and so I now have "MiniSMP" 😅 {And there was a bunch smoke in the kitchen because my mother and my brother were using a wood burner for something, that implemented itself into the dream as well 😅}

[This is a message that I sent to one of my friends about it, I still don't understand where my brain went to that night- ]

I had a weird dream a few nights ago about three YouTubers that I watch.

They were rat hybrids, and they were scurrying through the walls. Their alternative universes, had no idea that they were the rats in the walls. Only one of the people, knew that the rats were other versions of themselves. The one person helped the rats secretly. The other two people, were using poisonous gases and traps to try to get the rat AU out of the walls.

It was so flipping weird- 😅

he couldnt believe what he just saw. all these months. all the time spend together.....was it just a game? was is it his plan all along?

George lokked at Dream with fear in his eyes as he saw the little bulge in Dream throat go down.he stared in horror at the giant towering over him. hes next. George back up. his legs were shaky. he couldnt run, he knew it. even if he tries he would catch him quickly without any effort.

a giantic hand was suddently covering his wiev. he was hopeless. he gave up and accepted his fate. tears streaming down his eyes as his friend's hand brought him closer to his giant mouth. saliva coated him effortlessly and he was sent down Dream's gaping throat with a light gulp. the walls around him squeezed before he reached a more open space. stomach...... thought George glumly. he felt Sapnap grab his hand and hug him. around them they could hear soft purring as Dream was satisfied with a full belly.

they both knew very well what that meant. they will remain in Dream's stomach for some time. George leaned against the soft slimy walls around him and Sapnap did the same before they both fell asleep exhausted to the sound of Dream purring and the sound of his stomach growling happily.

after long time some story. im really sorry for any grammar mistakes, english isnt my first language and the translator doesnt working :,3

pirate mer dream

okay, so im just imagining a puffy who is a pirate and raids a trader's ship, and in the cabins underneath the deck, she finds a tank with a baby mer inside. the water is murky, the tank is unkempt, and the mer looks starved. the mer speaks in clicks and whistles, like a dolphin, but seems to understand english. so, he seems to understand when puffy tells him she would free him.

puffy immediately adopts the baby mer and names him dream. she orders her men to carry the tank to her ship so she can clean it and keep dream on her ship. but she also allows dream to swim in the ocean when he wants, too. dream is a free mer, now. but dream attaches himself to puffy quickly, seeing her as his new pod.

dream is smart and a quick learner and eventually learns several human languages, including english. he gets along well with his older human brother, foolish. the pirate crew are endeared to him. he makes new friends, like bad and his son, sapnap. everyone loves their new baby mer crewmate.

except ... puffy didn't realise just how quickly, and how much, mers grew.

pretty soon, she has a three-hundred foot leviathan who protects her ship in the deep waters and would die for her crew.

(never mind the fact that the leviathan, the mer, is a total sweetheart and commonly teases his older brother about being his "little" brother, to foolish's chagrin).

like, imagine one scene. george is new on the ship and keeps track of the ledgers and numbers of the ship. he doesn't know about their fellow mer crewmate yet, because dream doesn't show himself to new crew members right away. one day, they're raided by another pirate ship and are taken captive. sapnap edges closer to the railing on the side, he takes his dagger - which hadn't been apprehended yet like the other weapons - and he throws it over the side of the ship.

it plops into the water with an anticlimactic splash.

george could almost scream. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" he wants to yell. instead, he says, lamely, "that was our last hope. gone."

the opposing pirates all laugh at him, thinking sapnap stupid.

"any moment, now," sapnap says.

"any moment, what -"

and then a leviathan breeches the water, covered in green scales. its at least a hundred feet long, or at least, the bit outside the water is. its tail is still hidden in the depths. and, oh - the leviathan looks pissed, too. its teeth are bared, long, shark-like teeth on display.

"who dares hurt my family?" the leviathan demands, holding the previously thrown dagger pinched between its fingers.

"dream!" sapnap says, grin wide.

george's jaw drops.

Giant’s

For years giants hid from the human race, a small yet brutal and chaotic species. Until eventually the giant race grew to realize they could overthrow the human's easily, human's were cocky, they couldn't accept that they weren't top of the food chain anymore.

Oh, that was their first mistake.

The giant's only requested equality.

Yet, human's waged a war against beings that were stronger, faster, and ofcourse, bigger.

And that was the second mistake, upon many more they would make.

Giant’s prevailed, ofcourse. This time the human's were the ones hiding, small human civilizations stayed strong, deciding to fight back against the giant's. The giant's respected the effort and proposed a peace treaty.

Most of humanity instantly agreed, a few were stubborn and believed that if humans were on top before, they could do it again.

"So you're seriously not gonna eat us?" The brunette hesitantly asked the giant, the giant was just rather relieved that both the humans weren't crying or defensively screaming at him like a few minutes ago.

"L-Look, they forcefeed me human's here, just so they can get rid of other humans they find...inadequate." The taller sighed, "Honestly, it's a miracle they didn't make me eat you." The way the giant said it so casually set some unease upon the two men.

"W-Well I'm Dream, what about you guys?"

Small talk, okay, this might help out our situation.

"I'm George, this is Sapnap." George said whilst addressing to the raven haired male, who was holding him in a protective matter. Sapnap seemed to ease up easily to Dream, George was still rather hesitant yet he considered his situation at the moment and theres really no reason the giant should be nice to them.

"It's nice having company..." Dream blurted out, Sapnap stared up to be met with those unruly bright green eyes, it being the only feature they can get from the other with dim lighting; Sapnap coughed, "How long have you been...down here?"

Silence, it wasn't fairly long, but it was eerie nonetheless.

"Maybe a few months? I don't know, they gave me a clock but it was too small for me to read so they took it away." The giant explained solemnly. "Best if you get comfy, until you guys can escape, it's not safe." Both humans quietly listened as they began to tiredly spur out ideas on how they could possibly escape.

Hour's have passed, both human's falling comfortably asleep side by side eachother, Dream looked down on them, uncomfortably shifting ever so often; afraid of crushing them on accident, the area was too small, if he kneeled his head would already be pushing up on the ceiling. With two other people to worry about he felt even more cramped.

George stirred awake, groaning at the pain that his entire body was currently recieving, the brunette realized Sapnap wasn't near him; his senses became more clear, recognizing a few familiar chattering voices.

"-And suddenly, BAM! George shot an arrow through the zombies head, it was so cool since the forest was on fire and he could still hit the zombie even with his bulky weird goggles." Sapnap giggled.

"What!?"

Dream and Sapnap snapped their attention to the now annoyed brunette, "My goggles aren't weird! They help keep the sun from hurting my eyes when I'm trying to shoot something." He huffed. A raspy chuckle came from the giant as he watched the two humans, it's the most entertaining thing he's seen in a while.

As the raven haired man and brunette bickered a loud rumble interrupted them which caught them off gaurd. They both stared at Dream, who was embarrassed, the giant was avoiding their gaze. "Sorry..." He mumbled. "Do they really not feed you daily?" Sapnap grumbled.

"No- but I've gotten used to not eating for while."

It's been a long, long while...

"They basically took everything off of us besides clothes..." George announced while patting down his pockets. "Look I think we need to keep thinking of a way on how to get you two outta here." Dream said while biting down his lower lip anxiously.

"Sapnap said we could try luring the gaurds in a rushing out, but what about you?" The brunette asked the giant, "I'll be fine we just need to get you guys out." George nodded, not wanting to pry on why he was so persistent of getting them to leave.

Sapnap interjected, "Actually I was thinking about it, that Quackity guys probably thinks were dead. If were the one's making a commotion the gaurds might just inform duck man instead." Dream listened carefully to the human's conversation. "How do we even know if the gaurds can hear us?" The brunette asked, "For all we know this room is sound proof."

The brunette turned to Dream, "What can you tell us about this place?" Startled by the sudden question; Dream thought for a moment. "I-I don't know much, Sir comes visit once a month, and he observes me whenever he makes me eat someone..." Dream mumbled, feeling guilty he couldn't provide more insight.

"Okay...we need more time to figure out a plan..."

Time...

Dream suddenly grew more worrisome, while George and Sapnap were oblivious to it; Dream figeted with his fingers, he silently thought of his own plan on how he could get his new friends out of this gruesome, cruel place.

Plip...

Plop...

Water

George speculated the liquid that dripped on him, suddenly gaining an idea.

"Dream, do you know what's above you? We're obviously underground but what's above the ceiling." The giant thinks for a moment, "I-I think it's like a lake maybe, or perhaps a waterhole?"

"Hey Dream is it alright if we climb up your knee so we can take a look at the ceiling?" The giant nodded as he positioned himself properly. George grabbed the fabric of the giant's jeans as he began to climb, Sapnap following suit.

George began to press his hands against the dirt ceiling, some small rocks and pebbles were practically the only thing that was holding it together; plus the tension aswell ofcourse. "Hey Sap do you think Dream could break through this?" Hearing his name Dream snapped his attention towards the two men.

"Hell yeah, Dream's definitely strong enough to break through that." George pondered for a moment, "So Dream have you ever tried breaking the ceiling." "No- didn't wanna risk anything, they already barely feed me. I don't know what's really up there, the lake might be surrounded by gaurds for all I know."

"Well we gotta try right? You've been here for months! Probably already developed scoliosis." The brunette explained, "Me and George can hold onto your clothes or something while you push the ground upward."

"Sure? L-Like now?" Dream asked as he shifted uncomfortably. "Better now then never right?" Sapnap snickered as he clung himself on Dream's shoulder while George clung on the other. Dream took a deep breath before positioning his arms.

He grit his teeth as his muscles tensed, the ceiling slowly giving out. Dream panicked as he thought the room was going to cave in, with a rush of adrenaline he gave punch upwards and he hauled himself up, the water dropping down into the room below making the area shake. They were all soaked and it was around mid-day the sunlight burned their eyes yet Dream picked himself up and ran.

George and Sapnap were still tightly clinging onto the man, the giant being kind enough to make sure they didn't fall aswell. Once they reached deep into a spruce forest the giants knees buckled and he fell to the ground.

Sapnap and George both climbed down, fixing themselves at the same time. The two cheered as they turned around to congratulate the giant.

The human's eyes widened in shock and amazement, this was the first time they both got an actual look at the giant before them.

Dream had dirty, unkept hair, George wasn't too sure if it was blond or brown. The bright green eyes that illuminated were now looking a more natural forest green, his clothes were ripped and dirty, overall the giant looked like a wreck.

"Yo man, you alright?" Sapnap tilted his head as he watched the blond raise his head.

The giant bared his teeth, "I-I gotta go."

The two males watched as the giant stood up and fled, both looking at eachother with a worried gaze, pursing they lips and hoped they would meet the giant once again.

As fate would have it, they would.

It was inevitable.
