“tiny bugs during magic hour” compilation. This is getting wierdly specyfic… what is next? knees of caterpillars dancing on string instruments in blue light during sun eclipse? I think I will try to make a bit less bug photos now, they started to dominate this blog too much.

Bugs & A Robin

A tiny speckled beetle on one of our chive blossoms: 

I wish this photo was clearer. That is the beetle in the center, the insect just below it is a little black ant and that blur to the left of the blossom is a tiny native bee in flight: 

A robin at our suet cake. We keep suet cake out during the Spring because it is high energy food for birds that are nesting and raising young. Conditions where we are allow robins to have two broods in the season and we’ve already seen young robins that are fully able to fly:
