Microleafhopper (Subfamily Typhlocybinae)
Allegheny National Forest - Pennsylvania - April 26th 2025
Its hard for me to full explain just how utterly tiny this leafhopper was. It was by far the smallest leafhopper I have ever seen it was hanging out near a tiny little creek and I just happened to notice a tiny spot of white moving around and pulled out my camera. I wasn't able to see the red until I was looking through my camera and I thought its coloring was just so cool.
Tiny little friends on flowers.🌻🌞🦟

A tiny one. My blog theme seems to make it larger but actually it’s freaking tiny. You should look at this on your phone....See ? Tiny.
“tiny bugs during magic hour” compilation. This is getting wierdly specyfic… what is next? knees of caterpillars dancing on string instruments in blue light during sun eclipse? I think I will try to make a bit less bug photos now, they started to dominate this blog too much.
