UPDATE!! UPDATE!!
I NOW HAVE FOUR
YES FOUR
FOLLOWERS~!!!!
THIS IS SO COOL FOR MY TINY, tiny BLOG!
If you have under 50 followers, leave a note on this post. I want to check out all the lesser-known blogs and see if I want to follow them. I will check out anyone’s blog. We should start an army of tiny blogs and help each other rise to more followers. I don’t know.
I'm a tiny blog. I don't have 1,000+ followers, but I have enough and I love every single one of them. Would I like 1,000+ followers? Of course; the more the merrier! But do I need 1,000+ followers? No. I'm not on anyone's follow-forever's or promos; haven't won any giveaways, or made any successful text posts. Hell, I got only two "happy birthdays" and lost 3 followers on my birthday. But you know, it's not about that. That's not the goal of Tumblr. The goal is to enjoy yourself, find out something new, make new friends with people you barely know simply because you like the same things. If you're on Tumblr purely for the fame of notes and followers, perhaps you're not getting the most out of it.
I've met online friends that I hope I will be able to see in the future; I've laughed and cried and joined families on here. I've been able to share my opinion (granted, somewhat), and been able to discuss and stand for things that I was naive about. The number of notes and followers doesn't matter. Whether you have a ton of followers or barely any, all that matters is that you get the most out of this. I needed a reminder; maybe you do too.
Here's to the tiny, unsung blogs. May we prosper and thrive.
