Didn’t see a lot of people talking about this frame so I’ll throw in my two cents.
I love how, despite Vox being smitten enough that he’s almost demure in Alastor’s vicinity, he still is his power-hungry self enough that when he brings up his own capabilities (“My massive influence-”), also an allusion to what he himself could have achieved further, it briefly pokes through his nicer persona. He really couldn’t help it!
I agree that he’s generally acting younger than his age around Alastor, so it’s nice to see he’s not entirely lost his flair. Leaves one to wonder if he’ll let this side of himself out more often when talking to Alastor, had the latter agreed to the partnership proposal and allowed Vox to grow more open and comfortable/confident around him.
