I am trying something new (to me) in regards to starters. In the past, I often found myself saying, "Well, my muse has no established relationship with your muse. They have never met." And thus nearly every thread started with formal introductions and slowly fizzled out from there because there was no real goal attached to the situation. While it makes perfect sense to establish that these characters do not yet know each other at some early point in these introductory threads, I feel that making that the entire focus of the thread doesn't lend to a greater story in most cases. As such, I am doing away with formal introductions as a starting point and instead throwing our characters into a fun situation with a lot of wiggle room!

This, of course, applies to pantsed threads with characters that my muse has no canon interaction with — or threads that have not been plotted. If this ends up working out, great! If not, that's perfectly fine, and I can always go back to introductory threads (ex. "Hello, how are you? I don't believe we've met."), but I thought this might be a fun little shift to help both of us keep the ball rolling.

Hey just a friendly reminder to everyone not to use terms like “spirit animal” and other sayings that appropriate, mock, or are disrespectful to indigenous cultures/peoples.

I’m not indigenous myself but I saw a spike in this kind of thing happening recently and just wanted to mention it.

While many of us have moved on to a new fandoms, this blog will remain open.

There maybe times that things are reblogged more if I am in my feelings enough, new post will be added here and there.

While I am still firmly RK1K, I have hyperfocsed on another lovely fandom and it's people. I like to think that Markus and Connor are married by now and lounging around in Markus's mansion on a lazy weekend day drinking thirium mimosas.

So!!! today i'm going to set up a queue for the next few days. I'm going on a trip with my grandma & uncle to my brother's graduation!!! it'll be 8-12 hours in the car depending on traffic ( which I'm excited about, sincerely ) & then we're planning on staying for a few days??? though we don't know when exactly we're coming home. it all depends on the dynamic between us & my former stepdad & how long we can play nice.

this means i'll be super busy & tumblr will be the lowest on my list of priorities. usually, i am pretty perpetually on my Chromebook or lurking but that's not going to be the case this week. i will try to log on at the end of the day/check in with my friends if i have the space/energy to do so. but again, it's not really gonna be my priority here!

when i get back i am going to be moving my peter par.ker muse from @boywebbed here, temporarily. I'll also be adding mark gray.son( invincible ) as a secondary muse which i am excited about as well! on the critical role front I'll be adding kima & jb as well! this blog will still be fantasy centric overall because that's what i prefer to write but that is not gonna stop me from doing what i want also.

I don’t think I’m comfortable posting AOT content anymore.

I can still criticize it (especially Marley/Marley ap*l*gists), but I’m officially stepping out of the fanbase permanently.

To my AOT followers/mutuals who do consume it highly critically and do not praise the creator, you are safe.
