ok I know you have answered this question for me in the past but for the life of me I cannot remember the answer. But Nordic runes, open to all magic users or do they have a deeper religious significance meaning they should be avoided?

They are open to all magic users! However, I recommend doing a thorough study of them only because there’s a lot of info about them to learn in order to use them effectively. For instance, the blank rune is not a historical thing and many runes are still debated on their meanings and pronunciations. Each rune has its own individual meaning and history. So while they aren’t closed off only for heathens to use, there’s a lot to learn about them and a lot of misinformation that floats around about them. It’s not disrespectful to use them but if you’re going to, you ought to know what you’re playing with.

I haven't used them myself but used to sell them at last job and people seem to prefer the NutriNinja. It's got a bit more power and better blades.

@tinybolt thanks! that’s the one I was leaning towards. I read that it seemed to be every so slightly better at blending and that the cups were better. Plus it’s about $10 cheaper so I think I’ll go that route.

When I have a Costco membership I will sometimes buy the box of Reese’s Cups. There’s 72 2-packs in a box. One time, I went through it in three days. I felt both like a champion and like I didn’t need to eat for a fucking month. (it is late and you get story time HI I HOPE YOU’RE HAVING A GREAT NIGHT! despite only having one watermelon lolli)

Oh Gods, I don’t blame you I would’ve done the same thing. It took me ALL of my self control not to go through my two bags of candy corn and two bags of chocolate in a solid week. 

I could’ve. I really really could’ve. 

(It was about 3 weeks ago and I have maybe one fourth a bag of candy corn left.)

But yes, thank you, I’m having a wonderful night! I’ve been writing, and really I should be asleep but oh well xD I never sleep when I mean to.

Who is your second favorite character of ASOUF? What is your favorite plot device used? Is there a theme you feel gets overlooked? (is that enough to start you off? :D)

YOU ARE PERFECT.

1) Second favorite character... probably Lemony Snicket. It’s pretty hard to deny Sunny. She’s the breakout star of the series in every way. Beyond that, I find Lemony fascinating and inspiring. He’s a broken person in every way, but he just keeps going. I find that admirable.

2) Favorite plot device: The Medusoid Mycelium. I won’t go into it too much because I know at least one of my followers is reading the series and not there yet, but... yeah.

3) The extreme degrees to which the series encourages children to challenge authority is incredible and, frankly, surprising. People wanted the book banned for having the word “Damn” in it, but frankly I’m amazed no one got worked up about books that challenged the judicial system, societal structure, and even organized religion. It was a pretty subversive series. I have to wonder if it skated by purely on adults not understanding it.
