Of all your tiny tails characters, who’s design was the hardest to come up with, in comparison, who was the easiest?

Also if you were a borrower what would you decorate your home with?

It's probably Barnaby- I wouldn't call any of them "hard" persay, but Barns actually had a slightly different color pallet and body type when I first designed him.

As for me- I'm an artist, definitely a Craftie of some kind- I'd imagine all my burrows walls would be covered in murals, and soft colorful things like blankets, thread, pillows, plushies, and clothes. Some people like shiny stuff- rocks n bottles n buttons- I like anything bright and fluffy to the touch.

Not super great at making bgs yet but! have an attempt at a burrow.

Tiny Tails Science Team!!! (And Benrey LOL)

Heres my little hlvrai borrowers- maybe i'll make some hl2vrai ones as well but for now this was fun.

Gordon is a Hamster who's clearly been through the wringer in terms of what Beans he's interacted with. Coomer is a Mole-rat, Bubby is a Ferret (learning the hard way that fire is extremely dangerous). Tommy is-......a bunny. just a bunny. nothing else. don't worry about it.

And obviously as the xenian of the group and resident antagonist, Benrey gets to be the weird ass fairy following them around for seemingly really shitty reasons.

Doodling some incorrect quotes with my Borrower series ocs.

I was going to make a post talking about how one of my borrower characters was being replaced with a different one for my story- when i realized i never even uploaded all the updated references I MADE LAST YEAR!!!!

Anyways- heres all the most important characters for my concept series called Tiny Tails, a Series about an average human named Jack- and how his life changes in a BIG way, after meeting his ₛₘₐₗₗ borrower lovers.

Are borrowers only rodents? I've been considering making a reptilian borrower self-insert/oc but I'm pretty sure that won't work.

It's not really that borrowers are rodents- so much as the way I made the story for Tiny Tails. I didn't want them to be completely overpowered. Flying, swimming, and poisonous borrowers sort of just don't really feel all that fun to me- its overcomplicated and ruins the vibes of my "small creature that can BARELY defend itself." story.

So I started limiting my Tiny Tail Borrowers to only small mammalian creatures- so mostly rodents, but also lagomorphs, and whatever the fuck raccoons and armadillos fall into.

That being said i also don't like limiting creativity so reptilian and other animal features can be added to your Tiny Tail's borrowers- like Bait's fish bones- but most likely as cosmetics from a carrier spell, or tools or paints or even snake skin used in the clothes.

FUN FACT ABOUT BORROWERS FROM MY TINY TAILS UNIVERSE:

Borrowers of the hedgehog subcategory are very prone to becoming Fightiers, due to the thick density of their fur creating natural spiked armor. Somewhere along the way, borrowers of strength talent must have noticed this and continued to pass it onto their pips. This also leads to them growing out their fur unintentionally because it's VERY hard to cut. ^^;
