If you are, or know any service workers in the Chicago-area who may need some financial help, the website is a list of workers and their personal venmos - then people who want to help, can TIP them directly via their venmo.
This is for workers laid-off/between gigs because of the quarantine, AND for currently working service workers - still out there serving us through this quarantine.
I need more people for the list though, so would you guys mind sharing this if you know anyone in Chicago who may need some help? I’d appreciate it!
Chicago is full of hard workers, and I know there are lots of people who’d like to help them during this scary time. I won’t be handling any money, ever. It’s just a list with links to worker’s personal venmos. Hopefully this will be helpful. Thanks everyone. Take care.
