Met a lot of people, but nobody feels like you

The way you looked at him always got this weird effect on him. Your gaze was filled with love and warmth it made him have butterflies in his stomach everytime your eyes connected.

It has been this way since you were teens; you were compassionate with him, allowing him to be himself and take a needed rest from his position as a leader.

He hadn't feel the same way before; none of the affairs he had has been like you, none of the small relationships he had has been the way he would feel with you. Dick could breath around you and just let things be, maybe that was the thing that got his attention.

"What's wrong, Dickie?" You asked as you rolled to Dick's side of the bed. When you rested your head in his torso and looked up to him with those beautiful eyes full of your usual love he melted and that was scary.

Why you were doing this? It was weird, he felt grateful for having you in his life, it was nice to feel loved, but why did you care so much?

It has been a few months since you were together, looking back it felt like a whole life and the only thing that didn't change was your faith in the Boy Wonder.

So, please, don't break my heart

But that love and faith you had for him was scaring him; the last thing he wanted to do was disappoint you, he feared the day you realized he is not the man you think he is.

Maybe you will woke up one day and see how things truly are and you'll left, leaving behind a bruised and hurt Dick.

He didn't want that to happen, he was happy with you.

Dick caressed your cheek with his thumb, a tiny smile was forming on his lips." Nothing, babe" he said in a husky tone. I just like to be with you."

An smile graced your lips. "I like that too" you said as you lenead closer to Dick to kiss him. Dick's arms surrounded you, making the kiss last more than what you were planning, but that didn't bother you.

Moments like this made his day brighter. He loved having you in his arms, it made his fears go away and bring him a moment of peace.

It was scary for him how much you meant to him, it was almost unbelievable. But he knew that you were the right one.

He has know that since he caught you checking up on him one night when he was feeling ill.

When he caught you checking on him to see if his fever had gotten down by putting a hand on his forehead; after making sure he was okay you kissed him in his temple and brushed away a few strands of hairs that were on his eyes.

It may have been a small gesture, but the delicacy and affection you put into doing it has stayed with him and he could not forget it.

"I love you..." He confessed breathlessly as he pulled away from you. He was hoping to say those two words in more romantic environment, maybe after a date or in a fancy dinner, but there was no turning back.

Your eyes widened for a second and you could clearly feel your heart beating faster. "Holy shit!" You muttered under your breath without realizing. Being honest you were expecting being the first one to say that.

"Dick, don't get me wrong; that's not what I meant!" You quickly said when you saw Dick expression saddening. You give him a few pecks in his faces before continuing." I love you too, like a lot actually..."

Dick couldn't help himself, but smile like the fool in love he was." That's amazing!" He simply said before going for another kiss.

Gar looked like a mess and a one who was painful to watch. Since the ride back home yo saw how he just laid back in his seat and tried to calm himself and not think much abot the pain, the blood dried and got stuck in some spots in his jacket and obviously his face.

He did his best to not say anything about the wounds, didnt want to make Dick or Jason feel guilty or uncomfortable. But you had an idea of how bad those wounds must hurt, so the first thing you did when you arrive to the tower was take Gar hands and rush to the bathroom.

Gar looked at you like you were going crazy when you were searching for something in the cabinet that was above the sink, murmuring under your breath, cursing the fact that ou were not as tall as Dick and wondering why he had to put the kit in the highest shelf.

“Hey, dont worry...i will be fine” Gar tried to assure you, but it didnt work, you shushed him and just rolled is eyes.

“I mean it, I think I will just wash my face and then we could watch a movie, so yeah...” Gar tried to convince you, he put a fake happy tone masking to tiredness in his voice, it didnt work.

He sat down in the toilet and waited for you to do something, his face was resting in his hand, mindind to not put pressure over the scratches.

“Dude I can tell that you are in pain, let me help you.” you turned to him with a pack of cotton in one hand and in the other a bottle of alcohol.

Gar smiled up at you while putting down his hands. He felt warm on the inside, this whole scene was new in the relationship you had with him, and being honest he didnt mind it at all, it felt nice when someone you care and like look out for you.

But that didnt last too long before the alcohol make him back away a little, that thing was cold and hurted like a stung. “Fuck...” Gar cursed, making an annoyed expresion.

“Dont cry, I promise this would be quick.” you lowered down and with a gentle touh you kissed him just a little bit away from his lips, were his skin wasnt bloody.

Gar turned red in an nstant, suddenly the air in his lungs were gone and all the words became nothing to hm. H was beyond happy and the butterflies in his stomach didnt make him come down from his high. So he let you end curing him.

•This all started like a stupid idea which you both agreed on doing it

•in the movies they always put these scenes as something romantic and intimate, it should be the same, right?

•Well, not really...it's awkward

•When you're getting undressed the nervousness is pretty oblivious in you and Gar's face

•I mean, it's just the two of you, naked in a small space ... the poor boy don't know where to look or what to say.

•But you want to keep going so you hop in and turn on the shower

•Sure you're still a little nervous, but at least now you can be touched without apology

•Gar would say some funny things to calm his nerves or else he will explode

•Washing each other hair!

•It will so cute cuz Gar would make you crazy hairstyles and then you would laugh and kiss him and both of them would have a face full of foam, oh how cute

•In addition, you would both do some awkwardness like knocking over the shampoo bottles or having soap in their eyes, so they would laugh at that too.

•I really don't think anything more than that happens, at least not the first time you two shower togheter

•It's just a cold but the fever hasn't gotten down and as you keep insisting you're gonna be okay the much Gar is going to insist in being your personal nurse

•He's is worried

•And let's be clear, he is your personal nurse and he is good at doing his job

•He knows what kind of medicine you need to take and at what time, also he doesn't take a no for an answer. You have to take those medications if you want to feel better

•He is the sweetest. He is there for you when your at your worst point, giving you all his attention and caring

•Also Gar makes the best pancakes so there are a few times he had cooked you that and soup because the boy has some skills

•The best at guessing your temperature

•He gives you massages if your muscles are throbbing

•Tries to be there when your napping so he can check if your fever rise or not when your sleeping

•Brings you things even if you don't really need them.

°one time he bought you a bucket in case you wanted to puke when he heard you sneeze

•Gar wants to cover any little thing so you can recover quickly and be your healthy and lovely self again

Affection and Gar

He is baby omg

He's more open with this than Jason, but it's still kind of weird when it comes from a s/o and not a friend or family figure

Gar still blush when you kiss him out of nowhere

The first time you hold his hand he was a giggly mess

He tends to get clingy sometimes, it's like a puppy full of love

When Gar is like that he wouldn't let you go of a hug if it's cold or if he is comfortable

If you try he would hug you a little bit harder and pout

More kisses than normal: when you see each other in the corridors, stolen ones at training or when you'are studying together, victory ones when you're playing some videogame
