Brute Force, BaldGroove & Homebrew, O.H. My! - Starting 2013 with a Bang!!!
Well we've gone quiet on you through the Holiday Season haven't we? That's because like whipped, tired and abused sweatshop working elves, we've been hard at our labors to bring you our special brand of dementia with a side of fries. We may have had a break-for-daylight earlier in the month, but the Hounds were released and the prison-err staff were corralled back to their ... ahem, 'Cubicles'. Eh? What precisely are we working on, you ask?
Well for starters we began this month being hosted by the ever charming and graciously hospitable Thomas Willeford and Lady Clankington of Brute Force Studios, collaborating with Linc Williams of BaldGroove Productions to work on a Clandestine Music Video shoot (along with a laundry list of fantastic and talented folks that we're not going to reveal right now, but just trust us when we say that they are each a Cosmos of Wonderful unto themselves).
Then, since it's been too long since we hit a 'Con, because we love the event so and because we always advocate partying responsibly, several of us will be at Arisia 2013 with our Charity of Choice, the fine folks of Operation Hammond, a Convention Based EMT service (and a truly worthy cause - Do check out their website for more info). We promised you Homebrew in the title, didn't we? Ask and ye shall receive ... we'll be partying with John and Jason of J & J Miracle Mead ... as their recent rendition in a Foglio original would say "Dat's Da Good Schtuff!" In addition to filming some highlight reel and interviews at Arisia, we'll be putting together a press release and promo ad for Operation Hammond and possibly meeting with the fine folks of the Bar Fleet. We look forward to seeing our some of our Massachusetts friends and fans while we're there. Rumor has it, the Count may even be stopping in on and visiting some of his Red Fork Empire affiliates.
Then, it's BACK down to Pennsylvania for more Photoshoots, an additional film project in collaboration with Brute Force where we get up close and personal with the Camera and Pimpterview ... The A.S.S. Titilus Crew and Steam-Funk Studios staff! There's been alot of dustups and new hands joined up since we last spoke with you, our audience ... and it's about time we shared our disease-err ... 'gifted' voices with you, our fans. Topping this off, a planned visit and interview with none other than Gil Cnaan at this month's Dorian's Parlor in Philly! We have some exciting collaborations coming up with Fm Yates of Atomic City Comics, the mind behind the YouTube feature "Forever Wednesday".
What?!?!? There's More? ... *head-desks followed by a cleared throat and reading a delivered telegram* It's come to my attention that we will also have a small presence and potentially be filming highlight reel footage to compile for two years' worth of coverage at TempleCon 2013, that following weekend in Rhode Island. You know, because apparently my principals want me dead.
More? You want more, you say? Keep checking back here, because we are gearing up for our first major appearance of 2013, Steampunk @ Gettysburg Film Arts and Music Festival ... with a commercial we've produced with a Mystery Guest! And ... apparently collaborating with some Madman who wants to run a first year event and have us co-produce it. That's right. We may be assisting in running a 'Con ...
... Are you sure it's not too late for me to quit?
Yours in Masochism,
S.A.G.
