So...we’re nine days away from this month’s PPV, three days away from the Raw before it, and we’ve got one of the more lackluster cards in recent history. There is hardly any exciting stipulations (Kiss Me Arse, really?), the WWE championship match seems boring (because we already saw this match, minus the “meh” stipulations at Mania), and the card isn’t even fleshed out yet. Oh, and don’t even get me started on the fact that it’s Roman Reigns vs. Big Show again. The feud NO ONE wants. And I don’t even want Show to have his own match at any PPV again. I’m so bored by him.
The only way this can be saved for me is if they give Harper vs. Ambrose a badass stipulation, and they’re given enough time and not a stupid finish. And maybe, if Paige is actually going to be in the match, that the Diva’s match is made into a triple threat with Naomi, and they’re given a stipulation, too. Oh, and as I say every single time, Brie better fucking turn on Nikki this time. It wont happen, but a girl can dream.
What’s annoying is that, since Barrett said he’d be filming in England in May, we know that he wont win the IC title. Which is fine...but what is gonna happen, with Bryan not being 100%? Perhaps if he’s not healthy enough, someone will win the title on Monday and they’ll face BNB at ER? But I doubt it.
Pretty much all of the match ups are so boring to me, except for Luke Harper and Dean Ambrose, not only because I love both, but because I know they’ll put on a fantastic show. The build up has just sucked so badly. And they need to ANNOUNCE it.
Another thought...where the fuck is Bray Wyatt on the card? I thought he was possibly going to be feuding with Triple H, but I heard it’s possibly Reigns? Either way, that’d be awesome, but can we progress a bit on that and make it happen?
As my title says...Extreme Meh. I’m coming off of being SO fucking stoked for Mania to being so blah over Extreme Rules. I’m gonna watch it live, definitely. But I might not be happy about it. Let’s just hope there are some real surprises.
