Anmitsu party in the honmaru!

Honestly Azuki was 2nd priority to Osaka excavation, partly because I burnt a lot of resources trying fruitlessly for the Kagemitsu brothers, so I didn’t have any confidence in bringing him home.

Tried about 10 times for him on the first night, then made a few obligatory smiths per day afterwards. I think I spent about 25k of resources in total? Can’t tell for sure since the helper was malfunctioning for the past week. 

All 900 plus fuji ofuda, SF Tsuru heading the honmaru. I don’t think leader mattered a lot, I swopped so many that I got tired and left Tsuru in charge. LOL that joker punked me too! A couple of smiths before the bean turned up, I got 3:20 on an ofuda and it wouldn’t show up in the helper. I was like OMG OMG IS IT HIM, but after a few more clicks around the helper, Tsuru’s name popped up. I GOT SO MAD AND SMITHED HARDER lmao XD

So Azuki comes home uttering this line in a low sexy voice (and yes, I like sweets) but I can’t take him seriously with a cutesy name like that:

So, it’s time to descend into 100k hell again. Ah...those days of slaving for Yeskanehira (this is not some fond rush of nostalgia).

In other news, Chief Babysitter and Ghostie Flirt returned from vacay:

We’ve got a wild party tonight!!

I failed to bring Kenshin home, partly because I had to focus my resources on repairs for E-4 damages (and partly because RNG, duh). Guess the Kagemitsu bros don’t really like me. But boy am I glad I met my goal to reel this masochist in, I DON’T NEED TO DIE IN WORLD 7.

101 runs felt like forever, he came slinking home on the 54th boss node, greeting me sleazily:

Kidding. I may be a kuso saniwa BUT I AM NOT THAT KUSO. Kikkou Hunter Squad was fully equipped with omamori, so I could make the horrible choice to push for boss with few worries. Frankly, it was quite exciting to test RNG’s cruelty, and RNG sure answered with a vengeance. After breaking and reviving these 2, I stopped my “research” lol.

My overprotective peacock librarian came home fast.

I started out like this:

I was gonna give myself a limit of dropping to 120K on whichever resource was depleting the fastest. But someone had different ideas about his ETA:

5th try is my fastest in smithing campaigns so far! First 2 tries was with Hakata (fubuki), then next 2 tries was with Jiji (fubuki). Then I kept Jiji but threw in a plum ofuda and changed the recipe - viola!

To be honest, I couldn’t stop laughing when Tomoe was unveiled because his design is just so showy, it actually made Sengo look quite conservative. Those plumes! That monocle! Stilettos to kill! Arm on hip and eyebrows all judgmental like he’s about to scold me for snacking among the bookshelves! I’m sorry sir, I didn’t dirty any of your precious books.

But then I read his wiki update and I kinda melted :3 And his serious voice is nice, I likey.

Mouri looks so gentle! I feel son-ly vibes from him already. Mah boys, a-digging we go! I’m a few days late but I’ll work hard, so please come home.

Hmm but I might only be able to kiwame 2 out of 4...if I haven’t remembered wrongly, my Zuo and Hori are still lagging behind in level 40s. Kuso saniwa is sorry, I’ll repent.

Zoomed over to the wiki entry and I had tears in my eyes when I confirmed the present line-up. I’m afraid I might really weep at midnight on D-day.

Manure Idol returns!

Zuo is back from training! I sent him off at L75 and he returned at L30 looking way prettier. Wow boy, and you’re just in time for THE BIGGEST PARTY IN THE HONMARU.

Also, kiwame Zuo gained a new ability - he can now electrocute enemies:

I sent Bami off next...HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE FIRST WAKI TO GO. Sorry Bami, I made sure you jumped Snikkari’s queue this time.

Wakiwame begins!

I was gonna send Bami off first because he’s been a really responsible babysitter where my mid-level swords are concerned. But I couldn’t find button when I loaded the game in pocket earlier haha. Dammit, I’m sorry Bami.

So off Zuo goes! He left at Level 75, let’s see how the resident poop server returns.
