Happy 3rd anniversary to Deep Space! In all honesty, I've never gotten so far on a passion project before-and I hold these characters for a special place in my heart as a source of comfort during extreme hardship. I began this story before I knew who or what I was, before I was able to find a solid footing where I was safe and accepted, before many better days that were to come. I have much to learn, as I always will-and there will always be room to grow to be better, to be kinder, to be wiser about many things. But I know there will always be room to heal, and that family can indeed be found-and if these characters can eventually live to see a happy ending, then maybe, so can I.
