Hild : In Love

The Last Kingdom Master List

Hild is a kind and courageous woman. One who is not scared to get her hands dirty and is as fierce as any man. She may live her life for God, but it doesn't mean she has to give him everything – does it? Somewhere, deep deep down there is an inkling to be happy to be loved? Possibly, Hild is far too busy to toil away with such things. On a good day she has far too many things to take care of, the last thing she needs to worry about is yet another person and their feelings... even if they are feelings for her?

Uncertain? Is that the word?

Nobody is more surprised than Hild herself

She is a woman of God – perhaps too good a woman for God alone?

Bringing her small tokens such as the flowers she admires and fresh bread is bold

Happily she accepts the generosity

Despite the constant teasing from Uhtred – Hild refuses to believe that anybody could have eyes for her

Although...she is reluctant to admit that perhaps you have caught her eye as well

Oh My! How Does One do This?

Finan has offered to be her personal guide to romance

Wisely Hild refuses – she can manage on her own...maybe

Asking you to join her for a picnic by the river seems innocent enough

Until innocent picnics become secret meetings in the back rooms of the Abbey

Rushing off early to sneak in a moment between mass and prayers

You must be good because nobody has seemed to notice – they have but are too polite to mention it

Eventually it Catches Us...

Trying hard to be devoted to her faith and nothing else Hild knows that she is slipping

It's rather exciting actually

Who would have thought that she would be in love?

Truly and deeply?

Exhilarating and Wild

Hild has never experienced anything like it

She never wants it to end!

Love? What is love? Hild is certain that it is what she feels for those she is fondest of, even when they, Uhtred, are being a pain in her ass! Yes, Hild is familiar with love and the feelings of family, but that is one kind of love. Love for somebody who has stolen your heart is entirely different. It leaves you feeling confused, anxious, enthralled, and even a bit queasy. Hild isn't entirely certain that she is ready for such emotions. Yet here she is, lost in love as she finds herself swimming in your gaze and drinking in your very soul.

haven't really been liking my art the past couple of weeks but i feel much better with this. tried to keep it a little loose and not so rigid with the line work + not obsessing on small details.
