Order 66 Survivors Joel and Ellie AU PT 1/?
Secretly remained in contact with his brother Tommy despite being taken to the temple, only for Tommy to later be brought to the temple
One of the many recently (somewhere around 27-28 BBY) knighted Jedi who had minimal combat experience prior to the war
Received his own clone corp and padawan within the first year of the war
Sarah was his padawan right after receiving his knighthood and they quickly fell into a father-daughter dynamic
The day of Order 66, he and Sarah had to go assist Tommy who was recently knighted (prematurely) and had been overtaken by Separatists
He and Sarah were separated when the order was received by their clones. He was able to get to her quickly, but when confronted by his clone second-in-command, they were both gunned down
Tommy was able to kill the clone troopers but it was too late for Sarah, who died in Joel’s arms
Was able to escape with Tommy, traveling and surviving for years together until they had a falling out over Tommy working with a rebel cell
At some point, his violence began to corrupt him and his kyber crystal to the point where it began to turn red, so he attempted to cut himself off from the force
Met Tess during a smuggling mission gone wrong and he agreed to work for her to make things even
Began a situationship with her, struggling between his difficulty with attachments and trying to remain his hidden identity
Tess knows within like. The first month that he’s a Jedi who escaped Order 66
They become a smuggling duo who are unstoppable :) and everyone is scared shitless of them
At some point they touch down on a ship- building for a smuggling job, only to find that they are being hired by a branch of The Path to take Ellie off world
the Path has begun to work it’s way into working planets since it’s easier for Jedi to hide out there
But the inquisitors are on the way ):
He and Tess save Ellie, Tess realizing how important she is for the future of the galaxy at large. And how important it is for Joel to guide her in the force
Tess dies from an attack from the Inquisitors, stopping them long enough for Joel and Ellie to escape together
:) his lightsaber is yellow when he finally uses it again, slightly altered by his own violence
Ellie has a lil green lightsaber
Uses a single saber and like five blasters he has on his person at all times
