BEFORE DATING:
You and your family moved to Jackson a year after the events of season one. You two were both 15yrs old, and Ellie and Joel were tasked to show you and you and your family around the town. Ever since then, you and Ellie have been incredibly close.
When you were 17, you ended up dating someone else, and you were oblivious to Ellie’s jealousy. And Ellie tried to get over her feelings for you by dating Kat.
On the night of Ellie’s 17th birthday dinner, Dina came up to you, standing in the corner of the room. Both of you looking at Ellie, her face screwed up with a negative emotion you couldn’t place your finger on. Dina decided that she wanted to test out a theory of hers, and invited you to dance with her. Ellie seeing you dance with someone else, made her so mad she left the house abruptly, and no one could stop Ellie from leaving. Dina’s theory = correct
The next night, when you were relaxing at home in your bedroom, you heard a knock on your window. When you opened it up, Ellie came in, looking stressed, depressed, and tired. Fearing something happened with Kat, you tell Ellie to sit on your bed, while you get her some food. When you came back up stairs, you saw Ellie playing with your husky, Indy. Once you closed your door, you asked Ellie what was wrong, and she just let her feelings out. She told you about the crush she has on you since you were both 16. You remind Ellie that you are dating someone, trying your best to ignore the very same thoughts you have about her, that you were just made aware of. The rest of the convo ends up blowing up into a whole argument.
You and Ellie became the talk of Jackson over the next couple of weeks. Everyone in town noticed how distant you two have been, no one seeing you two together for weeks. Both of your families and friends were concerned, but neither you and Ellie told them what happened that night in your bedroom.
Months go by, and you and Ellie are still avoiding each other. Avoiding the feelings you both share. Trying to ignore them, by spending time with your partners. But every time Ellie kisses Kat, or every time you kiss your partner, you both can’t help but think about kissing each other.
Ellie couldn’t deal with her feelings with you, she became more reckless during missions, and would start getting into arguments with Joel. It got to the point where Joel had to sit down with Ellie and ask what is wrong with you and her. Ellie could no longer hold in the feelings anymore, she let go like a dam bursting.
Though, during this talk Joel and Ellie were having, you discovered your partner cheating on you with Kat (drama!). You ran straight to the other side of town, to the Miller household, running through the door, yelling out “El! Fucking P/N (Partner’s Name) and Kat are fucking each other!”
Before Joel can get Ellie to think about her actions, she rushes out of the house, grabbing you by the hand, and making you take her to the horse stables where they were.
Entering the stables, Ellie immediately makes a scene, yelling and swearing. You try to pull away Ellie, telling her to forget about them, but nope, she stays there.
The next morning, the town gossip focuses on what happened in the horse stables the night before. Ellie, pissed off, forced Tommy to take her shooting. And you tried to work your feelings off, focusing on the demanding children then your feelings. But as the day ends, you both can’t ignore your feelings. You sneak into Ellie’s bedroom, kissing her. Just as Ellie reciprocates the kiss, Joel comes into her room to see if Ellie is feeling better or not. Joel quickly shuts the door, and shouts out “I will talk to your later Ellie.”
The next few months, you and Ellie don’t make your relationship official. But everyone knew.
A couple months when you both turned 18, you both came out as an official couple.
WHILE DATING:
Due to knowing Ellie for years, and being trusted by the Millers, you knew about the bite marks. And instead of her going to Cat, she gets Tommy to do the tattoo for her. She shows up at your house straight after showing you it with the biggest smile.
When you two started going on scout missions, you two would beg to go together. And one time, you were given the permission to go by yourselves. You lied over coms that night, saying you two were too tired from the journey to the outpost. So you two ended up staying over, not getting any sleep ;). I mean, you two were alone all by yourself, a campfire was going on, can’t really blame anyone.
Though during that scouting mission, you came back with two survivors. 2 cats. You named one Natasha, and Ellie named one Lily. They were your lesbian daughters.
When Ellie moved into the garage, you often said hi to Joel if he was home, before heading to Ellie. Indy on your trail, as Natasha curled up in your (Ellie’s) hoodie pocket. You would have a special knock, and once Ellie would hear it she would tell you to come in. And every single time, Indy would jump out and tackle Ellie lovingly, and Natasha would join Lily. And Ellie loved this, she has always said that seeing you is her highlight of everyday, alongside being jumped by Indy. She doesn’t mind if it is you or Indy jumping on her, even if she is halfway through getting dressed.
When you go to each other’s place you would have half your wardrobes in each other’s room. But you always just steal her stuff. Wearing her boxers, and shirts to sleep every night.
If you are femme or like to put on makeup, she will watch you from the bed put on your makeup, like it is a work of art.
On the nights were she can’t sleep no matter what, she would get out her journal and pen, and start drawing pictures of you, surrounding them with doodles of hearts and kissing lip emojis, and with words like ‘my wife’, ‘so fucking hot!’, etc.
She loves to have either her hand on the small of your back, in your pocket, or interlaced with hers. If she can’t have any contact with you, she might die.

No matter what your role is in the community, whether it is a chef, hunter, builder, teacher, etc., she will always see you everyday. Depending on your job, she will see you throughout the day, or be there to walk you to or from work. (Though for the rest of the headcanons, I will be self inserting with ECE profession)
You have been banned from her training sessions with Tommy or Joel, you are banned from watching, cause either Ellie’s too distracted or you get turned on.
Since I can change things, when it came to the episode of Joel’s death. You were working with the kids, and Ellie walked you to work that morning. When the attack came to Jackson, you were underground with all the kids, trying to distract them with other educators. But when the infected became closer, you were sent off to help defend the city. Grabbing a gun and shooting at them from the roof. Though the infected came behind you on the rooftop, and a nearby person killed the infected before they could bite you. But before the infected get shot, the infected push you hard against the floor, leaving some broken ribs, a dislocated shoulder, and a concussion (for the plot obvs). When Ellie found Joel, Tommy got there just in time to take out Abby (wish that actually happened). Joel did NOT die, just seriously injured due to the torture. But with Ellie being in the hospital, you constantly snuck into each other's rooms, cuddling up in the beds. With Ellie being less injured then you, she often was spotted in your room the most. Many times the nurses had to wake both of you up when they were doing the nightly checks.
If you have any scars of your own, Ellie loves to make sure that you know that she still loves you.

During S2E1, on the scout mission, you and Ellie went into the store together (once again for the plot). When Ellie got bit, and you heard the commotion, you immediately came to her. She didn’t hide the bite, and you just looked at her with a saddened expression. You know she is immune, but it still hurts you every time, seeing a new bite. When you got back to Jackson, you were there seeing Ellie deal with her wound, and after you gave her all the care she needed.
