I wish we knew more about Tess before she met Joel..

I mean, we know she's been surviving for years, we know she's a smuggler, we know she has connections and clearly knows how to navigate that world, but there's still so much we don't know. Who was Tess before all of that? What was she like before the outbreak? What made her become the person we meet in the game?

I could genuinely listen to someone talk about her backstory for hours.

Every day I wake up and choose to be a Tess Servopoulos enthusiast.

Another poll fueled by curiosity.

In my brain, I see the tlou characters as a mashup of game and show when I write.

Physically, I am more drawn to the show because I connected with it on a deeper level than the game (I have a harder time connecting with animations in general). But! I like sneaking in small things from the games like Ellie’s freckles and giving Joel a little more body hair or leaning on Tess’s hair color.

As for their personalities, it’s a smorgasbord of game and show. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. A whole heap of whatever suits the story.
